Preface

The organizing committee of FMSP 2017 is proud to present the proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Frontiers of Materials Synthesis and Processing (FMSP 2017: http://www.icfmsp.org/), held from 28 to 29 October 2017, in Changsha, China.

FMSP 2017 aims at creating a meeting point for researchers and practitioners that from both China and abroad to exchange ideas in the domain of Materials Synthesis and Processing and related topics with its prospective application in the various interdisciplinary domains of engineering, including not only technological issues but also social issues.

FMSP 2017 received 791 manuscripts, and 168 submissions have been accepted by our reviewers. Articles submitted to the conference should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated. The committees of FMSP 2017 invested great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organizing the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit.

Hopefully, all participants and other interested readers will benefit scientifically from the proceedings and also find it stimulating in the process.

Taking into many influencing factors, a Needle Roller Bearings life calculation model was established using the Influence coefficient method and ISO formula. Take this model as the optimization objective function, some optimization variables were determined, and these variables were added constraint conditions. Using dynamic nonlinear strategy to improve the inertia weight, the arccosine strategy to adjust the learning factor, function constraints was solved by the methods of ensure particle legitimacy. Nonlinear optimization design of cylindrical roller bearings was realized by Improved Particle Swarm Algorithm. The proposed method of bearing design was verified effective by test of the optimization results.

Costs of maintenance and loss of power generation caused by the faults of wind turbines gearboxes are the main components of operation costs for a wind farm. Therefore, the technology of condition monitoring and fault recognition for wind turbines gearboxes is becoming a hot topic. A condition monitoring and fault recognition system (CMFRS) is presented for CBM of wind turbines gearboxes in this paper. The vibration signals from acceleration sensors at different locations of gearbox and the data from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system are collected to CMFRS. Then the feature extraction and optimization algorithm is applied to these operational data. Furthermore, to recognize the fault of gearboxes, the GSO-LSSVR algorithm is proposed, combining the least squares support vector regression machine (LSSVR) with the Glowworm Swarm Optimization (GSO) algorithm. Finally, the results show that the fault recognition system used in this paper has a high rate for identifying three states of wind turbines' gears; besides, the combination of date features can affect the identifying rate and the selection optimization algorithm presented in this paper can get a pretty good date feature subset for the fault recognition.

Joint clearances and friction characteristics significantly influence the mechanism vibration characteristics; for example: as for joint clearances, the shaft and bearing of its clearance joint collide to bring about the dynamic normal contact force and tangential coulomb friction force while the mechanism works; thus, the whole system may vibrate; moreover, the mechanism is under contact-impact with impact force constraint from free movement under action of the above dynamic forces; in addition, the mechanism topology structure also changes. The constraint relationship between joints may be established by a repeated complex nonlinear dynamic process (idle stroke - contact-impact - elastic compression - rebound – impact relief - idle stroke movement - contact-impact). Analysis of vibration characteristics of joint parts is still a challenging open task by far. The dynamic equations for any mechanism with clearance is often a set of strong coupling, high-dimensional and complex time-varying nonlinear differential equations which are solved very difficultly. Moreover, complicated chaotic motions very sensitive to initial values in impact and vibration due to clearance let high-precision simulation and prediction of their dynamic behaviors be more difficult; on the other hand, their subsequent wearing necessarily leads to some certain fluctuation of structure clearance parameters, which acts as one primary factor for vibration of the mechanical system. A dynamic model was established to the device for opening the deepwater robot cabin door with joint clearance by utilizing the finite element method and analysis was carried out to its vibration characteristics in this study. Moreover, its response model was carried out by utilizing the DOE method and then the robust optimization design was performed to sizes of the joint clearance and the friction coefficient change range so that the optimization design results may be regarded as reference data for selecting bearings and controlling manufacturing process parameters for the opening mechanism. Several optimization objectives such as x/y/z accelerations for various measuring points and dynamic reaction forces of mounting brackets, and a few constraints including manufacturing process were taken into account in the optimization models, which were solved by utilizing the multi-objective genetic algorithm (NSGA-II). The vibration characteristics of the optimized opening mechanism are superior to those of the original design. In addition, the numerical forecast results are in good agreement with the test results of the prototype.

In recent years, with the gradual extension of reliability research, the study of production system reliability has become the hot topic in various industries. Man-machine-environment system is a complex system composed of human factors, machinery equipment and environment. The reliability of individual factor must be analyzed in order to gradually transit to the research of three-factor reliability. Meanwhile, the dynamic relationship among man-machine-environment should be considered to establish an effective blurry evaluation mechanism to truly and effectively analyze the reliability of such systems. In this paper, based on the system engineering, fuzzy theory, reliability theory, human error, environmental impact and machinery equipment failure theory, the reliabilities of human factor, machinery equipment and environment of some chemical production system were studied by the method of fuzzy evaluation. At last, the reliability of man-machine-environment system was calculated to obtain the weighted result, which indicated that the reliability value of this chemical production system was 86.29. Through the given evaluation domain it can be seen that the reliability of man-machine-environment integrated system is in a good status, and the effective measures for further improvement were proposed according to the fuzzy calculation results.

The solid model of orbiting and fixed scroll is created by the Solidworks The deformation and stress of scrolls under gas force, temperature field, inertia force and the coupling field are analyzed using the Ansys software. The deformation for different thickness and height scroll tooth is investigated. The laws of deformation and stress for scrolls are gotten. The research results indicate that the stress and deformation of orbiting scroll are mainly affected by the temperature field. The maximum deformation occurs in the tooth head of scroll wrap because of the largest gas forces and the highest temperature in the tooth head of scroll wrap. The maximum stress is located in the end of the tooth, and the maximum stress of the coupling field is not the sum of loads. The scroll tooth is higher, and the deformation is bigger. The scroll tooth is thicker, and the deformation is smaller.

In this paper, the crankshaft automatic adjustment mechanism designed on CYJY10-4.2-53HF pumping unit is used as the research object. The simulation of the friction and bending moment of the crank is carried out by ANSYS Workbench, and the finite element simulation results are compared with the theoretical calculation results to verify the theoretical calculation. The final result is that the finite element analysis of the friction of the crank is basically consistent with the theoretical calculation; The analysis and calculation of the stress and deformation about the two kinds of ultimate conditions of the guide platform are carried out too; The dynamic state analysis of the mechanism is carried out to obtain the vibration modes and natural frequencies of the vibration of the different parts of the counterweight under the condition of no preload force so that the frequency of the array can avoid the natural frequency, and can effectively avoid the resonance phenomenon, and for different modes we can improve the stiffness of the structure.

To investigate the effect of pre-strain on behaviors in a specially developed Al-4.5Zn-1.2Mg alloy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) bright field (BF) imaging combined with select area electron diffraction (SAED), Vickers-hardness tests and electrical conductivity tests was conducted for insight into precipitation in aluminum (Al) matrix during two step ageing, and standard exfoliation corrosion (EXCO) test combined with high-angle angular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF-STEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was carried out for corrosion behavior. Results showed that pre-strain accelerated precipitation during two step ageing as the sequence of: (i) supersaturated solid solution (SSS), GPI zones precipitations, GPI dissolution; (ii) SSS, fcc precipitates, η' phases or η phases. And the precipitation hardening of the fcc precipitates was not effective as GPI zones. Pre-strain also accelerated EXCO developing, which was mainly attributed to the coverage ratio of η phases on high-angle grain boundaries (HAGBs) increasing as pre-strain increase.

Deepwater robots are important devices for human to explore the sea, which is being under development towards intellectualization, multitasking, long-endurance and large depth along with the development of science and technology. As far as a deep-water robot is concerned, its mechanical systems is an important subsystem because not only it influences the instrument measuring precision and shorten the service life of cabin devices but also its overlarge vibration and noise lead to disadvantageous effects to marine life within the operational area. Therefore, vibration characteristics shall be key factor for the deep-water robot system design. The sample collection and recycling system of some certain deepwater robot in a mechanism for opening the underwater cabin door for external operation and recycling test equipment is focused in this study. For improving vibration characteristics of locations of the cabin door during opening processes, a vibration model was established to the opening system; and the structural optimization design was carried out to its important structures by utilizing the multi-objective shape optimization and topology optimization method based on analysis of the system vibration. Analysis of characteristics of exciting forces causing vibration was first carried out, which include characteristics of dynamic loads within the hinge clearances and due to friction effects and the fluid dynamic exciting forces during processes of opening the cabin door. Moreover, vibration acceleration responses for a few important locations of the devices for opening the cabin cover were deduced by utilizing the modal synthesis method so that its rigidity and modal frequency may be one primary factor influencing the system vibration performances based on analysis of weighted acceleration responses. Thus, optimization design was carried out to the cabin cover by utilizing the multi-objective topology optimization method to perform reduction of weighted accelerations of key structure locations.

In this paper, a new type of Delta robot with only two degrees of freedom is proposed on the basis of multi - degree - of - freedom delta robot. In order to meet our application requirements, we have carried out structural design and analysis of the robot. Through SolidWorks modeling, combined with 3D printing technology to determine the final robot structure. In order to achieve the precise control of the robot, the kinematics analysis of the robot was carried out. The SimMechanics toolbox of MATLAB is used to establish the mechanism model, and the kinematics mathematical model is used to simulate the robot motion control in Matlab environment. Finally, according to the design mechanism, the working space of the robot is drawn by the graphic method, which lays the foundation for the motion control of the subsequent robot.

Five species of landscape plants which are scindapsus aureus, water hyacinth, cockscomb, calendula officinalis and salvia splendens were used as experimental materials to study their removal effects on nitrogen, phosphorus, chemical oxygen demand (CODMn) and suspended solids (SS) in urban river water. The results show that the 5 landscape plants have good adaptability and vitality in water body, among them, water hyacinth had the best life signs than the other 4 plants, and its plant height and root length increased significantly. They have certain removal effects on the nitrogen, phosphorus, CODMn (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and SS (Suspended Substance) in the landscape water of Dalong Lake, Xuzhou. Scindapsus aureus, water hyacinth, cockscomb, calendula officinalis and salvia splendens on the removal rate of total nitrogen were 76.69%, 78.57%, 71.42%, 69.64%, 67.86%; the ammonia nitrogen removal rate were 71.06%, 74.28%, 67.85%, 63.02%, 59.81%;the total phosphorus removal rate were 78.70%, 81.48%, 73.15%, 72.22%, 68.52%;the orthophosphate removal rates were 78.37%, 80.77%, 75.96%, 75.96%, 71.15%;the removal rate of CODMn was 52.5%, 55.35%, 46.02%, 45.42%, 44.19%; the removal rate of SS was 81.4%, 86%, 79.1%, 76.7%, 74.42%.The purification effect of 5 kinds of landscape plants of Dalong Lake in Xuzhou City: water hyacinth> scindapsus aureus>cockscomb>calendula officinalis>salvia splendens.

The three-dimensional model of high-speed loading spindle is established by using ABAQUS's modeling module. A finite element analysis model of high-speed loading spindle was established by using spring element to simulate bearing boundary condition. The static and dynamic performance of the spindle structure with different specifications of the rectangular spline and the different diameter neck of axle are studied in depth, and the influence of different spindle span on the static and dynamic performance of the high-speed loading spindle is studied. Finally, the optimal structure of the high-speed loading spindle is obtained. The results provide a theoretical basis for improving the overall performance of the test-bed

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is an analysis of the physical phenomena involved in fluid flow and heat conduction by computer numerical calculation and graphical display. The numerical method simulates the complexity of the physical problem and the precision of the numerical solution, which is directly related to the hardware speed of the computer and the hardware such as memory. With the continuous improvement of computer performance and CFD technology, it has been widely applied to the field of water conservancy engineering, environmental engineering and industrial engineering. This paper summarizes the development process of CFD, the theoretical basis, the governing equations of fluid mechanics, and introduces the various methods of numerical calculation and the related development of CFD technology. Finally, CFD technology in the mechanical engineering related applications are summarized. It is hoped that this review will help researchers in the field of mechanical engineering.

In this work, kaolin powder and glass fiber fabric were added to PF in order to improve its thermal stability and mechanical property. Micro-structures of carbonized PF with kaolin powder were inspected by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to demonstrate the filler's pinning effect. SEM results illustrated modified PF had well morphology after high-temperature heat treatment. The Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) test was carried out and found that kaolin powder only physically dispersed in PF. The compression test and thermal weight loss test were done on two groups of modified PF (Group A: add powder and fabric; Group B: add powder only). Results showed that all modified PF were better than pure PF, while foams with powder and fabric showed better mechanical characteristic and thermal stability compared with foams with powder only.

In this paper, taking the designer of the new compound balance pumping unit beam as our research target, the three-dimensional model is established by Solid Works, the load and the constraint are determined. ANSYS Workbench is used to analyze the tail and the whole of the beam, the stress and deformation are obtained to meet the strength requirements. The finite element simulation and theoretical calculation of the moment of the center axis beam are carried out. The finite element simulation results are compared with the calculated results of the theoretical mechanics model to verify the correctness of the theoretical calculation. Finally, the finite element analysis is consistent with the theoretical calculation results. The theoretical calculation results are preferable, and the bending moment value provides the theoretical reference for the follow-up optimization and research design.

With the continuous development of the scale of the cultivation of the radix pseudostellariae, the traditional separation mode cannot adapt to the mass production of the crown prince, and the existing manual separation mode is of great labor intensity and low degree of mechanization. Therefore, it is necessary to design a disengaging mechanism of radix pseudostellariae and soil on the basis of the design principle of modern agricultural machinery. According to the physical characteristics and growing environment of radix pseudostellariae, a drum-type separating component is presented, and the drum screen separating mechanism and vibration mechanism of the disengaging mechanism are designed. In this paper, the movement rule and time of the mixture of radix pseudostellariae and soil are determined in the drum screen. Rotation speed of the drum screen is calculated, and the operation rules of the eccentric wheel in the vibration mechanism are summarized.

In order to study the three-phase brushless motor control system of electric vehicle, Freescale9S12XS128 chip is used as the control core, and the power MOSFET is used as the inverter device. The software is compiled by Codewarrior software. The speed control link adopts open-loop control, and the control chip collects the external sensor signal voltage Change control PWM signal output control three-phase brushless DC motor speed. The whole system consists of Hall position detection module, current detection module, power drive module and voltage detection module. The basic functions of three-phase brushless DC motor drive control are realized.

In this study, four different types of adsorbents modified from corn stalk were synthesized after the reaction with epichlorohydrin, N,N-dimethylformamide, triethylamine and different cross-linking agents. The surface functional groups and thermal stability of modified corn stalk (MCSs) were characterized using FTIR and TG analysis, respectively. The feasibility of using MCSs to remove Cr(VI) were evaluated. Adsorption isotherms were determined and modeled with Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin equations. The experimental results showed that MCS modified using diethylenetriamine (DETA) had the best modification effect, and the adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) reached as high as 227.27 mg/g at 323 K. Thermodynamic study showed that the Cr(VI) adsorption onto MCSs was endothermic processes. As a result, MCS by using DETA as cross-linking agent has good potential for the removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions.

Registration of simultaneous polarization images is the premise of subsequent image fusion operations. However, in the process of shooting all-weather, the polarized camera exposure time need to be kept unchanged, sometimes polarization images under low illumination conditions due to too dark result in SURF algorithm can not extract feature points, thus unable to complete the registration, therefore this paper proposes an improved SURF algorithm. Firstly, the luminance operator is used to improve overall brightness of low illumination image, and then create integral image, using Hession matrix to extract the points of interest to get the main direction of characteristic points, calculate Haar wavelet response in X and Y directions to get the SURF descriptor information, then use the RANSAC function to make precise matching, the function can eliminate wrong matching points and improve accuracy rate. And finally resume the brightness of the polarized image after registration, the effect of the polarized image is not affected. Results show that the improved SURF algorithm can be applied well under low illumination conditions.

For parts with many features, there are more empty tracks during machining. If these tracks are not optimized, the machining efficiency will be seriously affected. In this paper, the characteristics of the empty tracks are studied in detail. Combining with the existing optimization algorithm, a new tracks optimization method based on Z-Map model is proposed. In this method, the tool tracks are divided into the unit processing section, and then the Z-Map model simulation technique is used to analyze the order constraint between the unit segments. The empty stroke optimization problem is transformed into the TSP with sequential constraints, and then through the genetic algorithm solves the established TSP problem. This kind of optimization method can not only optimize the simple structural parts, but also optimize the complex structural parts, so as to effectively plan the empty tracks and greatly improve the processing efficiency.

The soil pH of Fufeng County, Yangling County and Wugong County in Shaanxi Province was studied. The spectral reflectance was measured by ASD Field Spec HR portable terrain spectrum, and its spectral characteristics were analyzed. The first deviation of the original spectral reflectance of the soil, the second deviation, the logarithm of the reciprocal logarithm, the first order differential of the reciprocal logarithm and the second order differential of the reciprocal logarithm were used to establish the soil pH Spectral prediction model. The results showed that the correlation between the reflectance spectra after SNV pre-treatment and the soil pH was significantly improved. The optimal prediction model of soil pH established by partial least squares method was a prediction model based on the first order differential of the reciprocal logarithm of spectral reflectance. The principal component factor was 10, the decision coefficient Rc2 = 0.9959, the model root means square error RMSEC = 0.0076, the correction deviation SEC = 0.0077; the verification decision coefficient Rv2 = 0.9893, the predicted root mean square error RMSEP = 0.0157, The deviation of SEP = 0.0160, the model was stable, the fitting ability and the prediction ability were high, and the soil pH can be measured quickly.

Mechanical properties of filament winding composites are usually tested by NOL ring samples. Few people have studied the size effect of winding composite samples on the testing result of mechanical property. In this research, winding composite thickness, diameter, and geometry of NOL ring samples were prepared to investigate the size effect on the mechanical strength of carbon fiber (CF) winding composite. The CF T700, T1000, M40, and M50 were adopted for the winding composite, while the matrix was epoxy resin. Test results show that the tensile strength and ILSS of composites decreases monotonically with an increase of thickness from 1 mm to 4 mm. The mechanical strength of composite samples increases monotonically with the increase in diameter from 100 mm to 189 mm. The mechanical strength of composite samples with two flat sides are higher than those of cyclic annular samples.

This study aims to explore changes of long-term fertilization on spore density and colonization of AMF (Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi) under a 38-y long-term fertilization in a brown soil. Soil samples (0-20 cm,20-40cm,40-60cm)were taken from the six treatments of the long-term fertilization trial in October 2016:no fertilizer (CK), N1(mineral nitrogen fertilizer), N1P (mineral nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer), N1PK (mineral nitrogen, phosphate and potassic fertilizer), pig manure (M2), M2N1P (pig manure, mineral nitrogen andphosphate fertilizer).Spores were isolated from soils by wet sieving and sucrose density gradient centrifugation; mycorrhizal colonization levels were determined by the gridline intersect. The spore density was highest in the topsoils (0-20 cm), and was decreased with increasing of soil depth in each treatment. The spores density of M2N1P treatment was significantly higher than that of other treatments in each soil layer. Application of inorganic fertilizer (especially inorganic with organic fertilizer) can greatly improve the level of colonization. Our results suggested that long-term fertilization significantly affects spore density and colonization of AMF, however, spore density is not related to colonization rate.

Nowadays, flexible electronic devices are increasingly used in direct contact with human skin to monitor the real-time health of human body. Based on the Fourier heat conduction equation and Pennes bio-heat transfer equation, this paper deduces the analytical solutions of one - dimensional heat transfer for flexible electronic devices integrated with human skin under the condition of a constant power. The influence of contact thermal resistance between devices and skin is considered as well. The corresponding finite element model is established to verify the correctness of analytical solutions. The results show that the finite element analysis agrees well with the analytical solution. With bigger thermal resistance, temperature increase of skin surface will decrease. This result can provide guidance for the design of flexible electronic devices to reduce the negative impact that exceeding temperature leave on human skin.

A phytochemical study was performed on Arundina graminifolia (D.Don) Hochr. by silica gel column and semi-preparative HPLC, and ten stilbenoids were obtained. Their structures were elucidated by NMR and MS spectra and identified as 7-hydroxy-2,4-dimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (1), 4,7-dihydroxy-2-methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (2), 2,7-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene (3), 3,3'-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-bibenzyl (4), 7-hydroxy-2,8-dimethoxy-phenanthrene-1,4-dione (5), 7-hydroxy-2,10-dimethoxy-phenanthre-ne-1,4-dione (6), 7-dihydroxy-2-methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene-1,4-dione (7), 7-hydroxy-2-methoxy-phenanthrene-1,4-dione (8), 7-hydroxy-1-(p-hydroxybenzyl)-2,4-dimethoxy-9,10-dihydroxy-phenanthrene (9), 2,7-dihydroxy-1-(p-hydroxybenzyl)-4-methoxy-9,10-dihydroxy-phenanthrene (10). Compounds 5 and 6 were isolated from this plant for the first time. The isolated compounds were examined for their anti-hepatic fibrosis activity against HSC-T6 cells in vitro. The results showed that compounds 4 and 5 exhibited moderate growth inhibitory effects with IC50 61.9 μg/mL and 52.7 μg/mL, respectively.

Colloidal particles can influence the foamability and stabilization of aqueous foam by addition of surfactant at the air-water interface. This occurs because particles are activated via the interaction with surfactant and are adsorbed onto the surfaces of foams. This phenomenon has been applied extensively to the development of new materials and techniques. Whether particle surface can be activated or not is decided by the interaction between the surfactant and the particle. In this work, we studied the effects of cationic surfactant CTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) on PS (polystyrene), SiO2, and TiO2 particles in aqueous solution, and compared the difference in their surface activation according to foam volume of the particles/CTAB/water system, and the degrees of foamability and foam stabilization. In addition, the influence of anionic surfactant SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) on the surface activation of PS in aqueous solution was also analyzed and compared with that of CTAB.

In the light of the azeotrope of ethyl acetate-ethanol-water, a process of pressure-swing distillation is proposed. The separation process is simulated by Aspen Plus, and the effects of theoretical stage number, reflux ratio and feed stage about the pressure-swing distillation are optimized. Some better process parameters are as follows: for ethyl acetate refining tower, the pressure is 500.0 kPa, theoretical stage number is 16, reflux ratio is 0.6, feed stage is 5; for crude ethanol tower, the pressure is 101.3 kPa, theoretical stage number is 15, reflux ratio is 0.3, feed stage is 4; for ethanol tower, the pressure is 101.3 kPa, theoretical stage number is 25, reflux ratio is 1.2, feed stage is 10. The mass fraction of ethyl acetate in the bottom of the ethyl acetate refining tower reaches 0.9990, the mass fraction of ethanol in the top of the ethanol tower tower reaches 0.9017, the mass fraction of water in the bottom of the ethanol tower tower reaches 0.9622, and there is also no ethyl acetate in the bottom of the ethanol tower. With laboratory tests, experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results, which indicates that the separation of ethyl acetate ethanol water can be realized by the pressure-swing distillation separation process. Moreover, it has certain practical significance to industrial practice.

Micro-motion feature is one of the effective features used for radar target recognition in the middle section of the ballistic curve. The micro-Doppler expressions of the scattering center at the conical point and two sliding scattering centers in the conical bottom are given, firstly. Then by analyzing the micro-Doppler expressions, it is found that only the precession frequency can be estimated from the micro-Doppler expressions, and other parameters can't be estimated directly. But all precession and geometry parameters can be estimated by decreasing the number of parameters in the micro-Doppler expressions of two sliding scattering centers, which must use two groups of echoes illuminating the same warhead target from the cone top and the cone bottom. Finally, a new method of estimating all precession and geometry parameters is proposed, and it is validated by the simulation analysis.

The soil condition and condition of the plow affect the tillage resistance and the maximum traction of tractor. In order to improve the adaptability of tractor tillage depth control, a multi-parameter control strategy is proposed that included tillage depth target, draft force aim and draft–position mixed ratio. In the strategy, the resistance coefficient was used to adjust the draft force target. Then, based on a JINMA1204 tractor, the electro-hydraulic hitch prototype is constructed that could set control parameters.. The fuzzy controller of draft–position mixed control is designed. After that, in-field experiments of position control was carried on, and the result of experiment shows the error of tillage depth was less than ±20mm. The experiment of draft-position control shown that the draft force and the tillage depth could be adjust by multi-parameter such as tillage depth, resistance coefficient and draft-position mixed coefficient. So that, the multi-parameter control strategy could improve the adaptability of tillage depth control in various soils and plow condition.

This paper presents a new kind of tilting-pad gas seal. This design is introduced to reduce the tangential seal force and to improve the stability of rotor system finally. A seal test rig is set up. The paper compares the leakage between tilting-pad seal and fixed pad seal. The result shows that the leakage ratio of the tilting-pad seal is close to the leakage ratio of the fixed pad seal. The work done by seal force on the cylinder system is calculated as an index of comparison between these two seals. Result shows that the work done by the fixed pad seal is greater than the work done by the tilting-pad seal. Moreover, system damping factor is used to compare the stabilities of these two seals. The impact tests on the cylinder system are done under different conditions. The system damping factors are calculated from the damped waves of system vibration. Test results show that the damping factor of the tilting pad seal is higher than that of the fixed pad seal in both the vertical and the horizontal directions.

In this study, the mercury content of 44 soil samples in Guan Zhong area of Shaanxi Province was used as the data source, and the reflectance spectrum of soil was obtained by ASD Field Spec HR (350-2500 nm) Comparing the reflection characteristics of different contents and the effect of different pre-treatment methods on the establishment of soil heavy metal spectral inversion model. The first order differential, second order differential and reflectance logarithmic transformations were carried out after the pre-treatment of NOR, MSC and SNV, and the sensitive bands of reflectance and mercury content in different mathematical transformations were selected. A hyperspectral estimation model is established by regression method. The results of chemical analysis show that there is a serious Hg pollution in the study area. The results show that: (1) the reflectivity decreases with the increase of mercury content, and the sensitive regions of mercury are located at 392 ~ 455nm, 923nm ~ 1040nm and 1806nm ~ 1969nm. (2) The combination of NOR, MSC and SNV transformations combined with differential transformations can improve the information of heavy metal elements in the soil, and the combination of high correlation band can improve the stability and prediction ability of the model. (3) The partial least squares regression model based on the logarithm of the original reflectance is better and the precision is higher, Rc2 = 0.9912, RMSEC = 0.665; Rv2 = 0.9506, RMSEP = 1.93, which can achieve the mercury content in this region Quick forecast.

Using core wires with Ti-B4C-C as core and Al as strip materials, Ti(C,N)-TiB2-Al2O3 composite ceramic coatings were prepared on 45 steel substrates by the reactive arc spray technology. The influence of spray voltage, current, gas pressure and distance on the coatings was discussed. The spray parameters were optimized with porosity of the coatings as evaluation standard. The results showed that the most important factor which influences the quality of the coatings was spray distance. Then spray gas pressure, current and voltage followed in turn. The optimum process was spray current of 120A, voltage of 36, gas pressure of 0.7MPa and distance of 160mm. The porosity of coatings prepared in this spray process was only 2.11%. The coatings were composed of TiB2, TiC0.3N0.7, TiN, Al2O3 and AlN. Good properties and uniform distribution of these ceramic phases made the coatings have excellent comprehensive performances.

Aviation magneto ignition system failure accounted for two-thirds of the total fault aviation piston engine and above. At present the method used for this failure diagnosis is often depended on the visual inspections in the civil aviation maintenance field. Due to human factors, the visual inspections cannot provide ignition intensity value and ignition equilibrium deviation value among the different spark plugs in the different cylinder of aviation piston engine. So air magneto ignition strength and balance testing has become an aviation piston engine maintenance technical problem needed to resolve. In this paper, the ultraviolet sensor with detection wavelength of 185~260nm and driving voltage of 320V DC is used as the core of ultraviolet detection to detect the ignition intensity of Aviation magneto ignition system and the balance deviation of the ignition intensity of each cylinder. The experimental results show that the rotational speed within the range 0 to 3500 RPM test error less than 0.34%, ignition strength analysis and calculation error is less than 0.13%, and measured the visual inspection is hard to distinguish between high voltage wire leakage failure of deviation value of 200 pulse ignition strength balance/Sec. The method to detect aviation piston engine maintenance of magneto ignition system fault has a certain reference value.

Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) decomposition products were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by several gas chromatographs in the laboratory. Test conditions and methods were selected and optimized to minimize and eliminate the SF6' influences on detection of other trace components. The effective separation and detection of selected characteristic gases were achieved. And by comparison among different types of gas chromatograph, it was found that GPTR-S101 can effectively separate and detect SF6 decomposition products and has best the best detection limit and sensitivity. On the basis of GPTR-S101, online gas chromatograph for SF6decomposition products (GPTR-S201) was developed. It lays the foundation for further online monitoring and diagnosis of SF6.

The elongational properties of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) melt were measured using a melt spinning technique. The relationship between extrusion temperature and melt strength (MS) as well as between elongational viscosity and drawability were investigated with respect to the effects of extrusion temperature and extensional strain rate on the melt extensional stress and elongational viscosity. The results showed that the stretching force for the PPS melt decreased with a rise of extrusion temperature while increased roughly with an increase of extensional rate. The MS decreased with an increase of temperature, and the ln MS was a linear function of 1/T when the extrusion velocity was constant. Both the melt extensional stress and elongational viscosity decreased with the increase of the extrusion temperature. With increase of the extensional strain rate, the extensional stress increased while the melt elongational viscosity first decreases and then increases gradually. A low melt elongational viscosity might be beneficial to improve the melt drawability.

Red mud was used to partially replace cement to prepare red mud concrete, with replacement rate of red mud mass being 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% respectively, and hydration age being 3d, 28d and 90d. The experiment of cube compressive strength and radioactivity were conducted for 90 cubical test pieces respectively. The results show that with rise of replacement rate of red mud, the cube compressive strength of red mud concrete at the same hydration age first increased and then decreased, leading to increase of content of 226Ra,232Th,40K in red mud concrete, and increase of material's radioactivity accordingly; as hydration age was prolonged, with the replacement rate of red mud being the same, the compressive strength increased, and internal and external exposure indices and total specific activity all increased yet with small increase range. Generally the hydration age does not significantly influence the radioactivity of red mud concrete.

In this paper we report the investigation of diamond-like carbon (DLC) deposited by microwave surface-wave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) web for the purpose of the barrier property improvement. In order to characterize the properties of DLC coatings, we used several substrates, silicon wafer, glass, and PET web and KBr tablet. The deposition rate was obtained by surface profiler based on the DLC deposited on glass substrates; Fourier transform infrared spectroscope (FTIR) was carried out on KBr tablets to investigate chemical composition and bonding structure; the morphology of the DLC coating was analyzed by atomic force microscope (AFM) on Si substrates. For the barrier properties of PET webs, we measured the oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) after coated with DLC films. We addressed the film barrier property related to process parameters, such as microwave power and pulse parameter in this work. The results show that the DLC coatings can greatly improve the barrier properties of PET webs.

A series of thermally conductive and electric-insulating epoxy composites filled with boron nitride (BN) modified by octadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and graphene nanosheets (GNP) were prepared. The effects of modified-BN (BNOTAB) and GNP content on thermal conductivity, electric-insulating and thermal stability properties of epoxy composite were investigated. The results indicate that the BNOTAB can homogeneously disperse into epoxy system. When the mass ratio of BNOTAB/GNP is 6:4 (total filler content is 10%), the thermal conductivity of the composites reached 0.48 W/(m·K), which is 108.7% higher than that of the neat epoxy. Meanwhile, the composite retains excellent electric-insulating property. TGA and DSC results showed that the addition of BNOTAB/GNP filler particles can improve the thermal stability of epoxy resin composites.

In order to overcome the difficulty of choosing appropriate grading parameters of filling material for mines which are using filling mining method, the fractal theory is introduced, and a fractal equation of grading is built to represent gradation. Meanwhile taken Dahongshan copper mine as an example to discuss the relationship between fractal dimension and porosity, cementing strength under different parameters. A prediction model of cementing strength is built based on the experimental data, and the results show that the optimal grading parameters of Dahongshan copper mine is fractal dimension = 2.82. The optimized grading parameters of filling material in Dahongshan run steady, which greatly reduced the filling cost.

In recent years, the number of the damage bridge due to excessive deformation gradually increased, which caused significant property damage and casualties. Hence health monitoring and the damage detection of the bridge structure based on the deflection measurement are particularly important. The current conventional deflection measurement methods, such as total station, connected pipe, GPS, etc., have many shortcomings as low efficiency, heavy workload, low degree of automation, operating frequency and working time constrained. GPS has a low accuracy in the vertical displacement measurement and cannot meet the dynamic measured requirements of the current bridge engineering. This paper presents a bridge health monitoring and damage detection technology based on digital image measurement method in which the measurement accuracy is sub-millimeter level and can achieve the 24-hour automatic non-destructive monitoring for the deflection. It can be concluded from this paper that it is feasible to use digital image measurement method for identification of the damage in the bridge structure, because it has been validated by the theoretical analysis, the laboratory model and the application of the real bridge.

This thesis developed a new type-high pressure air pipeline joint, carried out dynamics research on CB316-1995 and new type-high pressure air pipeline joint with finite element method, deeply analysed the join forms of different design schemes and effect of materials on stress, tightening torque and fatigue life of joint. Research team set up vibration/pulse test bench, carried out joint fatigue life contrast test. The result shows: the maximum stress of the joint is inverted in the inner side of the outer sleeve nut, which is consistent with the failure mode of the crack on the outer sleeve nut in practice. Simulation and experiment of fatigue life and tightening torque of new type-high pressure air pipeline joint are better than CB316-1995 joint.

In this study, to solve the poor water resistance and the low mechanical properties of starch, a mixed-starch composite matrix which including glycerol, sorbitol, and urea, were prepared via single-crew extrusion, then adding oil-flax to improve its physical mechanical and used to a source of biodegradable plastics material. The composite matrix was systematically characterized using various analytic tools including XRD, SEM and TG. The composite showed a maximum tensile strength of 18.11Mpa and moisture absorption 17.67%, while the original starch matrix was only 12.51 Mpa and 24.98%, respectively.

Heterostructural photonic crystals (HPC) have attracted considerable interest due to its large photonic bandgap. Here we report a facile method to calculate and fabricate the heterostructural photonic crystals by using optical transfer-matrix method and polystyrene (PS) spheres with different particle sizes. Results suggest that the numerical simulation match well with the experimental spectra. In addition, compared with the single-structural photonic crystals (SPC), the HPCs have larger photonic bandgap, which is equal to a total of the photonic bandgaps of each SPC. Therefore, the HPCs with large bandgap can be well designed and then synthesized.

In order to study the fragment initial velocity distribution of the cylindrical warhead with terminals and exploded in the air, this paper builds a theoretical calculation model of the side-wall and terminal velocity of the warhead with two terminals based on the energy conservation principle, and considering the explosive energy distribution and proportion. The calculation results obtained by the theoretical model are compared with the experimental results of previous scholars. In this paper, the influence of the warhead L/D and C/M on the side-wall and terminal initial velocity is examined. A good agreement between the theoretical calculation results and the experimental results of previous scholars is observed. This verifies feasibility of the calculation method proposed in this paper. When the warhead L/D is smaller than 2, along with increase of L/D, the side-wall fragment velocity increases and maintains at certain value. In terms of the terminal fragment initial velocity, when the warhead L/D is close to 1, the initial velocity is larger; but, when the L/D is larger than 1, the terminal fragment initial velocity decreases significantly.

Firstly, Sensitivity analysis of antenna modal frequencies to stiffness of support structure and stiffness of scanning mechanism are conducted respectively. Secondly, Modal simulation results of antenna frequencies are given, influences of scanning angles on moment of inertia and modal frequencies are evaluated, and modal test is carried out to validate the simulation results. All the simulation and test results show that, after modal optimization the modal characteristic of the large deployable antenna meets the controllability requirement well.

A mechanical impedance model of a coupled motor–shaft–bearing system has been developed to predict the dynamic characteristics and partially validated by comparing the computing results with finite element method (FEM), including the comparison of displacement amplitude in x and z directions at the two ends of the flexible coupling, the comparison of normalized vertical reaction force in z direction at bearing pedestals. Nanostructured mesoporous materials is a new type of porous materials, which has been widely used. It has excellent capability in enzymes immobilization, but modification on the chemical bonds of the enzyme reduce the enzymatic activity and rarely used in chemical reactions. The horseradish peroxidase was immobilized on the mesoporous materials with appropriate aperture and its activity and stability was evaluated when catalyzing the nitration reaction of amines and oxidation reaction of thiourea. The optimum mesoporous material to fix the horseradish peroxidase can be obtained by mixing polyoxyethylene - polyoxypropylene-pol, yoxyethylene(P123), 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene(TMB), and tetramethoxysilane (TMOS) at a ratio of 10:1:1, whose surface area and pore volume and pore diameter calculated by BET and BJH model were 402.903m2/g, 1.084cm2/g, 1.084cm2/g respectively. The horseradish peroxidase, immobilized on the mesoporous materials, was applied for catalyzing the nitration reaction of anilines and oxidation reaction of thiourea, produced a high product yield and can be recycled. Thus, it is a strong candidate as a catalysts for oxidation reactions, to be produced at industral scale, due to its high efficiency and low cost.

This paper describes for the first time the analysis of inner microstructure of cotton fibrous assemblies using computed tomography. Microstructure parameters such as packing density, fractal dimension as well as porosity including open porosity, closed porosity and total porosity are calculated based on 2D data from computed tomography. Values of packing density and fractal dimension are stable in random oriented fibrous assemblies, and there exists a satisfactory approximate linear relationship between them. Moreover, poles analysis indicates that porosity represents the tightness of fibrous assemblies and open poles are main existence.

This article presents the effects of quenching temperature on tempering microstructure, mechanical properties and wear resistance of 30MnB steel were studied. The results showed that: The microstructure of 30MnB steel was the tempered martensite and retained austenite after quenching at 840°c-900°c and then tempering at 200°c. the carbide precipitation did not occur when 30MnB steel was tempered at 200°c, only the carbon segregation occurred. Meanwhile, the tensile strength of 30MnB was all above 1350MPa after quenching at 840°c-900°c and then tempering at 200°c, the -40°c ballistic work was above 20J, indicating that it had good low temperature impact toughness. 30MnB had minimum abrasion loss after quenching at 880°c and then tempering at 200°c, the wear morphology was fine wear mark, shallow furrow and ridge augmentation.

In this paper, it uses the way of dry bath temperature to heat the microfluidic chip directly by the heating plate and the liquid sample in microfluidic chip is heated through thermal conductivity, thus the liquid sample will maintain at target temperature. In order to improve the reliability of the whole machine, a temperature control system based on SG3525 is designed.SG3525 is the core of the system which uses PWM wave produced by itself to drive power tube to heat the heating plate. The bridge circuit consisted of thermistor and PID regulation ensure that the temperature can be controlled at 37 °C with a correctness of ± 0.2 °C and a fluctuation of ± 0.1 °C.

Discrete element method has great advantages in simulating the contacts, fractures, large displacement and deformation between particles. In order to analyze the spatial distribution of the shear surface in the three-dimensional triaxial test, a measurement model is inserted in the numerical triaxial model which is generated by weighted average assembling method. Due to the non-visibility of internal shear surface in laboratory, it is largely insufficient to judge the trend of internal shear surface only based on the superficial cracks of sheared sample, therefore, the measurement model is introduced. The trend of the internal shear zone is analyzed according to the variations of porosity, coordination number and volumetric strain in each layer. It shows that as a case study on confining stress of 0.8 MPa, the spatial shear surface is calibrated with the results of the rotated particle distribution and the theoretical value with the specific characteristics of the increase of porosity, the decrease of coordination number, and the increase of volumetric strain, which represents the measurement model used in three-dimensional model is applicable.

Generalized uncertainty principle (GUP), also known as the generalized uncertainty relationship, is the modified form of the classical Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle in special cases. When we apply quantum gravity theories such as the string theory, the theoretical results suggested that there should be a "minimum length of observation", which is about the size of the Planck-scale (10-35m). Taking into account the basic scale of existence, we need to fix a new common form of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle in the thermodynamic system and make effective corrections to statistical physical questions concerning about the quantum density of states. Especially for the condition at high temperature and high energy levels, generalized uncertainty calculations have a disruptive impact on classical statistical physical theories but the present theory of Femtosecond laser is still established on the classical Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. In order to improve the detective accuracy and temporal resolution of the Femtosecond laser, we applied the modified form of generalized uncertainty principle to the wavelength, energy and pulse time of Femtosecond laser in our work. And we designed three typical systems from micro to macro size to estimate the feasibility of our theoretical model and method, respectively in the chemical solution condition, crystal lattice condition and nuclear fission reactor condition.

The investigation was conducted to study the fatigue behavior of steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete (SFRHSC) beams. A series of 5 SFRHSC beams was conducted flexural fatigue tests at different stress level S of 0.5, 0.55, 0.6, 0.7 and 0.8 respectively. Static test was conducted to determine the ultimate static capacity prior to fatigue tests. Fatigue modes and S-N curves were analyzed. Besides, two fatige life prediction model were analyzed and compared. It was found that stress level S significantly influenced the fatigue life of SFRHSC beams and the fatigue behavior of SFRHSC beams was mainly determined by the tensile reinforcement.

In order to study fatigue performance of foamed lightweight soil and forecast its fatigue life in the supporting project, on the base of preliminary tests, beam fatigue tests on foamed lightweight soil is conducted by using UTM-100 test system. Based on Weibull distribution and lognormal distribution, using the mathematical statistics method, fatigue equations of foamed lightweight soil are obtained. At the same time, according to the traffic load on real road surface of the supporting project, fatigue life of formed lightweight soil is analyzed and compared with the cumulative equivalent axle loads during the design period of the pavement. The results show that even the fatigue life of foamed lightweight soil has discrete property, the linear relationship between logarithmic fatigue life and stress ratio still performs well. Especially, the fatigue life of Weibull distribution is more close to that derived from the lognormal distribution, in the instance of 50% guarantee ratio. In addition, the results demonstrated that foamed lightweight soil as subgrade filler has good anti-fatigue performance, which can be further adopted by other projects in the similar research domain.

The effect of nitrogen removal was investigated using a Bamboo filament bioreactor to treat wastewater with high organic load and low C/N ratio. Results showed that total nitrogen removal efficiency was 26.6∼96.95%, effluent BOD/COD ratio was 0.07∼0.74 when influent COD was 790∼5000 mg/L, BOD 60.0∼1100mg/L and the BOD/COD ratio was respectively 0.02∼0.44. When COD was 130.0∼278.0 mg/L, BOD was 42.5∼96.7mg/L, NH4+-N was 16.2∼98.1mg/L, TN was 28.7∼103.8 mg/L, COD/TN was 1.6∼4.7, TN removal rate was 29.4%∼58.8%. This indicated that good TN removal efficiency can be achieved when using a Bamboo filament bioreactor to treat wastewater with high organic load and low C/N ratio; Nitrogen removal fluctuated was due to secretion of bamboo juice secreted from the cavity of filamentous bamboo. The distribution characteristics of the main bacteria was investigated to show that total number of bacteria at inlet and outlet were same roughly during the wastewater treatment, while bacteria, nitrifying bacteria were distributed in outlet, and Nitrifying bacteria accounted for 1.57% of total bacteria, while denitrifying bacteria evenly distributed in the reactor.

Nonlinear constitutive modeling of piezoelectric ceramics is discussed in this paper. Van der Pol item is introduced to explain the simple hysteretic curve. Improved nonlinear difference items are used to interpret the hysteresis phenomena of piezoelectric ceramics. The fitting effect of the model on experimental data is proved by the partial least-square regression method. The results show that this method can describe the real curve well. The results of this paper are helpful to piezoelectric ceramics constitutive modeling.

The relationship between output voltage of giant magnetostrictive force sensor and input excitation force is obtained. The effect of melting point on the physical properties of anhydrous milk fat were investigated. The results showed that high melting fractions (HMF) (S30,S35) were enriched in long-chain fatty acids, whereas low melting fractions (LMF)(S5,S10,S15) were enriched in short-chain and unsaturated fatty acids. From S5 to S35, enthalpy value was gradually increased on both crystallization and melting condition, so as SFC on different temperature. The mixture and chemical interesterification allowed obtaining fats with various degrees of plasticity, increasing the possibilities for the commercial use of different fraction of AMF.

This paper presents the determination of betaine content in Lycii Cortex by high performance capillary electrophoresis (HPCE) method. The borax solution was chosen as buffer solution, and its concentration was 40 mmol at a constant voltage of 20kV and injecting pressure time of 10s at 14°C. Linearity was kept in the concent ration range of 0.0113∼1.45mg of betaine with correlation coefficient of 0.9. The content of betaine in Lycii Cortex was 61.9 mg/g (RSD = 13.4%) (n = 7). The recovery was in the range of 86.6% - 118.1% (n=4). This method is specific, simple and rapid and accurate, which is suitable for the detection of the content of betaine in Lycii Cortex.

Seelding height, chlorophyll content and total biomass were also measured on 6th, 2017. It was used to study the electrochemical response of terbutaline sulfate. Under the optimized conditions, the oxidation peak current was found to be proportional to its concentration in the range of 0.2-5 μmol·L-1 and 5-40 μmol·L-1).Compared with the bare GC electrode, the GN-MWNTs-modified GC (GN-MWNTs/GC) had many advantages such as relatively high sensitivity, good stability and long life time. The three-dimensional numerical simulation of the glass melt flowing out from the slit was conducted by Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked (SIMPLE) and volume of fluid (VOF) method with the software FLUENT. In this work, the effect of liquid level of glass melt, viscosity of glass melt, width and height of the slit on flow rate was investigated. The simulation results showed that the flow of glass melt was proportional to the height of the liquid surface and the square of the slit width, and inversely proportional to the viscosity of the glass melt and the height of the slit. It was concluded that high liquid level and low viscosity should be adopted in the drawing process of the flexible glass sheet.

Monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) have attracted a great attention for their exceptional electronic and optoelectronic properties among the two dimensional family. However, controllable synthesis of monolayer crystals with high quality needs to be improved urgently. Here we demonstrate a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth of monolayer MoS2 and MoSe2 crystals using three-temperature-zone furnace. Systematical study of the effects of growth pressure, temperature and time on the thickness, morphology and grain size of crystals shows the good controllability. The photoluminescence (PL) characterizations indicate that the as-grown monolayer MoS2 and MoSe2 crystals possess excellent optical qualities with very small full-width-half-maximum (FWHM) of 96 me V and 57 me V, respectively. It is comparable to that of exfoliated monolayers and reveals their high crystal quality. It is promising that our strategy should be applicable for the growth of other transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) monolayer crystals.

The Zn3V2O8 and (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 have been production by Solid phase method. The crystal structure, the crystal morphology and the luminescence property of Zn3V2O8 and (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 have been studied. Based on the first-principles planar wave super-soft pseudopotential method of density functional theory (DFT), the α-Zn3V2O8 crystal model was used to calculate the electronic structure and optical properties of the model. The results show that the crystal structure of Zn3V2O8 and (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 were the same, and the particle uniformity of (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 was better than Zn3V2O8. The emission band Zn3V2O8 and (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 were present at the wave length of 420-690 nm and 300-400nm, the luminescence property of (Zn1-xEux)3V2O8 was enhance by Eu-doped. α-Zn3V2O8 is an indirect band gap, α-Zn3V2O has a band gap of 2.715eV, pure α-Zn3V2O8 has a peak, appeared at 3.91eV that is caused by the optical transition between V 3d and O 2p states.

PEN/NdFeB composite films were prepared by the solution casting method. The thermal properties, fracture morphology and tensile strength of the composite films were tested by DSC, TGA, SEM and electromechanical universal testing machine, respectively. The results reveal that the composite film has good thermal properties and tensile strength. Glass-transition temperature and decomposition temperatures at weight loss of 5% ot the composite films retain at 166±1 C and 462±4 C, respectively. The composite film with 5 wt.% NdFeB has the best tensile strength value for 100.5 MPa. In addition, it was found that the NdFeB filler was well dispersed in PEN matrix by SEM analysis.

An AIEgen 1, 2-di (4-hydroxyphenyl)-1, 2-diphenylethene (TPE-2OH) was introduced into the back bone of semi-crystalline poly arylene ether nitriles (PEN). The fluorescence spectra results indicated that the derived polymer displayed a typical aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) active with an emitting peak at ∼470 nm. Then the AIEE active PEN was prepared into films through casting method and realised strong fluorescence emission and excellent mechanics properties. Besides, the crystal AIEE active polymer shows sphere micro-morphology along with a strong blue emission. These findings will open a door for further research on the high performance semi-crystalline PEN at flexible display technology and optical sensors.

To improve the quality of high-moisture anthracite treated by hydraulic reservoir reconstruction technologies, the isothermal drying process of anthracite were studied experimentally. Based on the experiment results, after the fitting of thin layer drying model and the regression analysis, the prediction model was established. The results show that the isothermal drying process can be divided into the acceleration and deceleration stage. The effective water diffusivity increases with the increase of temperature and particle size. And the Page model fits the best. The prediction model is in good agreement with experimental data.

In this study, PC-nanoTiO2 and PC-P25 were prepared via chemical-deposition and mixture-calcination methods, respectively. Both of PC-nanoTiO2 and PC-P25 were employed to adsorb and photocatalytic degrade toluene in aqueous solution. The characterization results show that distribution of TiO2 nanoparticles in PC-nanoTiO2 and PC-P25 were different, but their binding force between PC and TiO2 were both chemical bonds. Due to synergy of adsorption and photocatalytic degradation, both PC-nanoTiO2 and PC-P25 exhibit good effect in removing toluene in aqueous solution, and both PC-nanoTiO2 and PC-P25 could be utilized for treating wastewater generated from hazardous chemicals leakage accidents emergency.

Orange-red phosphors NaY(WO4)2:Eu3+, Sm3+ were successfully synthesised by hydrothermal synthesis method. The photoluminescence (PL) properties were investigated. The PL emission spectrum of Na Y (WO4)2: Eu3+ shows good luminous properties under 398 nm, which mainly located at 596 and 615 nm, with the additional of Sm3+ could broaden and increase emission intensity of Eu3+, which could be suitable for the excitation of UV light emitting diodes (LEDs) (∼400 nm). The PL results indicated that Na Y (WO4)2: Eu3+, Sm3+ may be a promising red phosphor candidate for use in white LEDs.

In view of the large heavy slewing bearing no longer follows the rigid ring hupothesis under the load condition, the entity finite element model of thrust angular contact ball bearing was established by using finite element analysis software ANSYS. The boundary conditions of the model were set according to the actual condition of slewing bearing, the internal stress state of the slewing bearing was obtained by solving and calculation, and the calculated results were compared with the numerical results based on the rigid ring assumption. The results show that more balls are loaded in the result of finite element method, and the maximum contact stresses between the ball and raceway have some reductions. This is because the finite element method considers the ferrule as an elastic body. The ring will produce structure deformation in the radial plane when the heavy load slewing bearings are subjected to external loads. The results of the finite element method are more in line with the actual situation of the slewing bearing in the engineering.

In order to find out the effect of fluid flow velocity on electrochemical reaction, the electrochemical parameters of super 13Cr stainless steel in 3.5% NaCl aqueous solution were measured by a jet flow system at different flow velocities. The electrochemical characters such as open-circuit potential and polarization curve were monitored online using a three-electrode electrochemical system. The results show that the increase of wall shear stress caused by the high flow velocity leads to the rupture of passive films and the exposure of fresh metal in the corrosive media, which causes the increase of corrosion rate. Meanwhile, the corrosion rate shows a significant growth when the flow velocity is less than 0∼10.0 m/s. But it gradually decreases after reaching a maximum value.

In view of the galvanic corrosion of the tower wall material in the tower of a refinery atmospheric vacuum distillation unit, the electrochemical behavior of Q345R steel, stainless steel (201, 304 cold-rolled plate, 304 hot rolled plate and 316L) in 3.5%NaCl solution was studied by electrochemical method. The results show that the corrosion potential of Q345R is much lower than that of stainless steel, and the corrosion rate of Q345R is higher than that of stainless steel. When the acoustic fuse of smart landmines tries to detect and recognize a ground vehicle target, it is usually affected by gun shooting, explosive blasting or other similar noises on the actual battlefield. To improve the target recognition of smart landmines, it would be necessary to study the characteristics of these acoustic signals. Using sample data of the shooting noise of a certain type of rifle, the blasting noise of TNT, and the acoustic signals of a certain type of WAV, the energy characteristics of these noise signals are compared and analyzed. The result shows that the wavelet-packet energy method is effective in describing the characteristics of these acoustic signals with distinct intertype variations, and the frequency at the peak energy value can serve as a signature parameter for recognizing battlefield blasting noise signals from vehicle target signals.

By adding nano SiO2 particles, an enhanced K-PRTV anti-pollution flashover coating had been prepared. Optical profile meter (GT-K), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and infrared spectrometer (FT-IR) characterization were carried out on the coating surface analysis. With the use of modified epoxy resin as the base material, the supplemented by phosphate as a corrosion stabilizer, to achieve a corrosion of steel and galvanized steel with rust coating. The piezoelectric shunt damping circuit using current mode approach is imposed to control the vibration of a cantilever beam. Firstly, the simulated inductance with large values are designed for the corresponding RL series shunt circuits. Moreover, with an example of cantilever beam, the second natural frequency of the beam is targeted to control for experiment. By adjusting the values of the equivalent inductance and equivalent resistance of the shunt circuit, the optimal damping of the shunt circuit is obtained. Meanwhile, the designed piezoelectric shunt damping circuit stability is experimental verified. Experimental results show that the proposed piezoelectric shunt damping circuit based on current mode circuit has good vibration control performance. However, the control performance will be reduced if equivalent inductance and equivalent resistance values deviate from optimal values.

Domestic Aramid Fiber III (DAF III) was modified by oxygen plasma treatment. The fiber surface characteristics was observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy. The results showed that oxygen plasma treatment changed surface morphologies. The effects of oxygen plasma treatment on DAF III reinforced bismaleimides (BMI) composite bending and interfacial properties were investigated, respectively. The ILSS value increased from 49.3 MPa to 56.0 MPa (by 13.5%) after oxygen plasma treatment. The bending strength changed a little. Furthermore, the composite rupture mode changed from interfacial rupture to fiber or resin bulk rupture.

LiFePO4 was prepared via high temperature solid-state method at different heat preservation time. XRD and SEM was used to test the structure and morphology of LiFePO4. Land 2001 was used to test the electrochemical performance of LiFePO4. The results illustrated that well-crystallized LiFePO4 composite with homogeneous small particles was obtained by XRD and SEM. And the optimum heat preservation time was 4 hour. From charge/discharge test, it can be seen that at 0.2C, LiFePO4 has initial discharge capacities of 159.1mAh/g at the heat preservation time 4 hour. From the rate capacity, it can be seen that the discharge capacity was of optimum sample remains above 99% after 200 cycles.

The microscopic morphology of the plugging agent was observed by scanning electron microscope. Double crosslinking system has dense pores and full structure. The outer network in the double crosslinked gel is filled into the voids of the network. A novel dinuclear dysprosium complex, namely [Dy2 (L) 4 (COO) 2 (CH3OH)2] (1) (L = 2-hydroxy-3-methodxybenzaldehyde-5-bromo oxime), was synthesized, structurally and magnetically characterized. Single-crystal X-ray structural analysis reveals that complex 1 is neutral dinuclear complex, in which two Dy(III) ions with nine-coordinated environment are bridged by two phenoxide groups from two schiff base ligands and four O ions from two molecules of methanoic acid. The maximal degree of sulfonation (DSsulf) was 1.56, which were obtained by varying reaction factor such molar ratio of SO3-Py to fructofuranans unit (FU). The FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra showed the introduction of sulfate group, and the reaction occurred at C-6, C-4 and C-3 in the fructofuranans unit of BFO. The superplastic mechanical properties and microstructure evolution of the duplex Mg-9Li-1Al alloy were investigated. The tensile testing results show that, the elongation of the as-extruded Mg-9Li-1Al alloy reaches 510% at 573 K with a strain rate of 2×10-4 s-1. During the deformation process, the strips of α phase break into equiaxed structure. This phenomenon can be attributed to a particular dynamic recrystallization, which suggests that the β phase can recrystallize in the α phase due to the small misfit degree between α phase and β phase.

A novel graphene oxide-polyvinyl alcohol/poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel (GO-PVA/PNIPA hydrogel) with temperature sensitivity is prepared through in situ free-radical polymerization and freezing–thawing cyclic process. In this study, mechanical property and temperature sensitive property of GO-PVA/PNIPA hydrogel are investigated. The results show that the mechanical strength of GO-PVA/PNIPA hydrogels are enhanced with the increasing content of GO and also keeps good temperature sensitivity. Graphene oxide acting as a multi-functional crosslinker between PVA and PNIPA is responsible for the improving strength. Furthermore, this GO-PVA/PNIPA hydrogel with excellent mechanical strength holds a great promise as candidate for temperature sensitive material.

A silo is an important piece of storage equipment, especially in the grain industry. The internal friction angle and the friction coefficient between the grain and the silo wall are the main parameters needed for calculating the lateral pressure of the silo wall. Bamboo is used in silo walls, but there are no provisions about the friction coefficient between bulk grain and bamboo clappers in existing codes. In this paper, the material of the silo wall is bamboo. The internal friction of five types of grain and the friction coefficient between the grain and the bamboo clappers were measured with an equal-strain direct shear apparatus. By comparing the experimental result values with the code values, the friction coefficient between the grain bulk and bamboo clappers is lower than that between grain and steel wall and that between grain and concrete wall. The differences in value are 0.21 and 0.09, respectively.

In this paper, the effect of different buffers, PBS and TBE, on the construction of an aptamer sensor (apt sensor) for ATP was investigated. The apt sensor was based on fluorescence energy resonance transfer (FRET), when the energy donor was 5'-carboxyfluorescein (5'-FAM) and the energy receptor was Au nanoparticles (AuNPs), respectively. Both the donor and acceptor were conjugated with complementary and single stranded DNA (ssDNA). The fluorescent changes of the sensors were measured to investigate the influence of different buffers during the whole preparation and detection process. The results indicated that when the AuNPs and ssDNA (Au-DNA1) were conjugated in PBS buffer, the corresponding apt sensors would obtain a better detection ability of ATP than in TBE buffer.

In order to improve the bending strength of Polystyrene (PS) sintered parts by selective laser sintering, Polystyrene/glass fiber (PS/GF) composite powders were prepared by mechanical mixing method. The size distribution of PS/GF composite powders was characterized by laser particle size analyzer. The optimum ratio of GF was determined by proportioning sintering experiments. The influence of process parameters on the bending strength of PS and PS/GF sintered parts was studied by orthogonal test. The result indicates that the particle size of PS/GF composite powder is mainly distributed in 24.88 μm~139.8 μm. When the content of GF is 10%, it has better strengthen effect. Finally, the article used the optimum parameter of the two materials to sinter prototype, it is found that the PS/GF prototype has the advantages of good accuracy and high strength.

In order to study the dynamic wear evolution of steel wires during multi-axial fretting-fatigue, experiments were carried out on a self-made multi-axial fretting fatigue test rig. The results show that the maximum length, maximum width, area and depth of wear scar will increase with the fatigue cycles, and the cross angle decreases from 11° to 4° with increasing fatigue cycles. The wear coefficient increases quickly at first and then tends to be stabilized when fatigue cycles increases from 5000 to 20000.

The conservative operation method which takes unified current-carrying capacity as maximum load current can't make full use of the overall power transmission capacity of the cable. It's not the optimal operation state for the cable cluster. In order to improve the transmission capacity of underground cables in cluster, this paper regards the maximum overall load current as the objective function and the temperature of any cables lower than maximum permissible temperature as constraint condition. The interior point method which is very effective for nonlinear problem is put forward to solve the extreme value of the problem and determine the optimal operating current of each loop. The results show that the optimal solutions obtained with the purposed method is able to increase the total load current about 5%. It greatly improves the economic performance of the cable cluster.

The influence of the reoxidation time on electrical properties and the positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PTCR) effect in multilayer Y2O3-doped BaTiO3 (BTO) ceramics were investigated. The BTO ceramics were sintered at 1160 °C−1270 °C for 2 h in a reducing atmosphere and then reoxidized at 500 °C–900 °C for 0 h−4 h. Results indicated that the room-temperature resistance of BTO ceramics reoxidized at 750 °C for 2 h after sintering at 1160 °C−1270 °C for 2 h decreased with the increasing of the sintering temperature. As the reoxidation time increased, the room-temperature resistance of the BTO samples slightly increased. In addition, the effect of the reoxidation time on the PTCR effect of the ceramics was also studied. The BTO ceramics had a low room-temperature resistance of 0.3 Ω and a resistance jump greater than 3.0 orders of magnitude.

We investigate the effect of calcination temperature on the positive temperature coefficient of resistivity (PTCR) characteristics in (Bax-0.002Sm0.002)TiO3 ceramics that were fired at 1250 °C for 30 min in a reducing atmosphere and reoxidized at 800 °C for 1 h in air. The results indicate that the room-temperature resistivity first decreased and then increased as calcination temperature increased from 1000 °C to 1200 °C. Moreover, the critical calcination temperature of 1150 °C is experimentally determined. The samples have a low room-temperature resistivity of 38.4 Ω·cm and exhibit a significant PTCR effect with a resistance jump of 2.1 orders of magnitude. Furthermore, the room-temperature resistivity of the S7 samples doped with a small amount of Mn(NO3)2 is much higher than that of the S3 specimens not doped with Mn(NO3)2 in our work.

Under the excitation of 351 nm, the emission spectrum consisting of the characteristic transitions of Dy3+ which mainly peaking at 480, 487 nm and 574 nm corresponding to the4F9/26H15/2 and4F9/26H13/2, respectively, the intensity of the blue emission stronger than the yellow one which indicated that Dy3+ ions take the site without inversion symmetry. In this paper, diamond single crystal co-doped with sulfur and boron was successfully synthesized at the fixed pressure of 6.0 GPa and temperature range of 1535 K. Sulfur was detected in the co-doped diamond by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and the corresponding characteristic peak located at 848 cm-1. Interestingly, Hall effect measurements indicated that the diamond co-doped with sulfur and boron exhibited n-type semiconductor behaviour. The thermal protective performance of the fire fighter protective clothing is of vital importance for fire fighters. In the study fabrics treated by phase change materials (PCMs) were applied in the multi-layered fabrics of the fire fighter protective clothing ensemble. The PCM fabrics were placed at the different layers of the clothing and their thermal protective performance were measured by a TPP tester. Results show that with the application of the PCM fabrics the thermal protection of the multi-layered fabrics was greatly increased. The time to reach a second degree burn was largely reduced. The location of the PCM fabrics at the different layers did not affect much on the thermal protective performance. The higher amount of the PCM adds on, the higher thermal protection was brought. The fabrics with PCMs of a higher melting temperature could contribute to higher thermal protection.

Conducting sand liquefaction estimated based on codes is the important content of the geotechnical design. However, the result, sometimes, fails to conform to the practical earthquake damages. Based on the damage of Tangshan earthquake and engineering geological conditions, three typical sites are chosen. Moreover, the sand liquefaction probability was evaluated on the three sites by using the method in the Code for Seismic Design of Buildings and the results were compared with the sand liquefaction phenomenon in the earthquake. The result shows that the difference between sand liquefaction estimated based on codes and the practical earthquake damage is mainly attributed to the following two aspects: The primary reasons include disparity between seismic fortification intensity and practical seismic oscillation, changes of groundwater level, thickness of overlying non-liquefied soil layer, local site effect and personal error. Meanwhile, although the judgment methods in the codes exhibit certain universality, they are another reason causing the above difference due to the limitation of basic data and the qualitative anomaly of the judgment formulas.

The objective of this paper was to predict the behavior of cutting force. A method of predicting the behavior of cutting force based on the chip thickness under various cutting conditions is proposed. Based on the established tool motion model, the chip model was founded. By numerical simulation, the effects of cutting parameters on cutting force under various cutting conditions were studied. The results show that the chip thickness can be used to predict the behavior of cutting force.

Micro-displacement motion stage driven by piezoelectric actuator has a significant demand in the field of ultra-precision machining in recent years, while the design of micro-displacement motion stage plays an important role to realize a large displacement output and high precision control. Thus, a 3D elliptical micro-displacement motion stage driven by three PZT actuators has been developed. Firstly, the 3D elliptical trajectory of this motion stage could be adjusted through the form of the PZT actuators input signal. Then, the desired trajectory was obtained by adjusting the micro displacement of the motion stage in 3D elliptical space. Finally, the trajectory simulation and the finite element simulation were applied in this motion stage. The experimental results shown that, the output displacement of the three directions under the input force of the 1600N were 14μm, 16μm and 74μm, respectively. And the first three modes were 1471.6Hz, 2698.4Hz and 2803.4Hz, respectively. Analysis and experiments were carried out to verify the performance, result proved that a large output displacement and high precision control could be obtained.

This paper presents an experimental investigation on the effect of graphene oxide (GO) on the mechanical properties of recycled mortar. In this paper, Zn3V2O8 phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid method. The effect of flux on the luminescent properties was studied. And based on the first-principles planar wave super-soft pseudo potential method of density functional theory (DFT), the α- Zn3V2O8 crystal model was used to calculate the electronic structure and optical properties of the model. The results show that the crystal morphology of the sample is improved, the grain agglomeration is reduced and the crystal structure isn't changed. The excitation spectrum ranges from 300-400nm, the excitation peak is at 360nm, and the emission spectrum is in the range of 420-690 nm, the peak at 550 nm. α- Zn3V2O8 is an indirect band gap, α- Zn3V2O8 has a band gap of 2.715eV, α- Zn3V2O8 has a strong UV-near ultraviolet light absorption capacity.

Commercial AZ91 Mg alloys were equal channel angular pressed (ECAP) for up to 6 passes at temperature as low as 473K. Microstructures and mechanical properties of as-received and as-pressed samples were investigated. It is shown that ECAP applied successfully to these materials at elevated temperatures leads to grain refinement due to the occurrence of recrystallization during the pressing process and to significant improvements in the strength and ductility of these materials. The microstructure was obviously refined and the average grain size was considerably reduced from over 28μm to below 1μm. From tensile testing at room temperature (RT), the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) increases obviously from 318MPa to 365MPa, in contrast, the uniform elongation increased from 12% of the as-received to 26% of the pressed up to 4 passes. These observations may be attributed to the effects combined grain refinement and texture development.

A new design of bipolar plate flow field in proton exchange membrane (PEM) stack was presented to develop a high-performance transfer efficiency of the two-phase flow. Two different flow fields were studied by using numerical simulations and the performance of the flow fields was presented. the hydrodynamic properties include pressure gap between inlet and outlet, the Reynold's number of the two types were compared based on the Navier–Stokes equations. Computer aided optimization software was implemented in the design of experiments of the preferable flow field. The design of experiments (DOE) for the favorable concept was carried out to study the hydrodynamic properties when changing the design parameters of the bipolar plate.

The finite element simulation is an effective way for the study of thin-walled tube in the two cross rolls straightening process. To determine the accurate radius of curvature of the roll profile more efficiently, a simplified finite element model based on the technical parameters of an actual two cross roll straightening machine, was developed to simulate the complex straightening process. Then a dynamic simulation was carried out using ANSYS LS-DYNA program. The result implied that the simplified finite element model was reasonable for simulate the two cross rolls straightening process, and can be obtained the radius of curvature of the roll profile with the tube's straightness 2 mm/m.

In this paper, CaCO3, CoO, CuO as raw materials, using solid phase preparation of Ca3Co4O9-based thermoelectric materials doping Cu. The Ca3Co4O9-based thermoelectric material intermediates were prepared according to the stoichiometric ratio x=0.01, and the sintered crystals were prepared by using muffle furnace under different temperature setting conditions. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to analyze the crystallinity and morphology of the samples after sintering. The results show that the crystallinity of Ca3Co4O9-based thermoelectric materials is best when sintered at 800-850°C, and the crystallinity of samples sintered at 850°C is better than that at 800°C, The diffraction intensity ratio is stronger than 800°C. Continue to raise the temperature, Ca3Co4O9-based thermoelectric materials phase transition to Ca3Co2O6-based thermoelectric materials, When the sintering temperature is 1000°C, the product is Cu-doped Ca3Co2O6-based thermoelectric materials.

Pure TiO2 and N-doped nano-TiO2 photo catalysts were individually prepared following the sol-gel method under ultrasonic conditions. The photo catalytic decomposition of methyl orange (MO) solution under ultraviolet and visible light irradiation was used as a probe reaction to estimate their photo catalytic activities. The particle size, crystal structure, and optical properties of the prepared TiO2 were performed by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The results suggest that ultrasound significantly reduced the size of the TiO2 particles, improved particle dispersion, which in turn improve the photo catalytic activity of TiO2 under ultraviolet light. Ultrasound also promoted the doping of non-metal nitrogen and markedly enhanced the visible light absorption capacity of the N-doped nano-TiO2. Compared with pure TiO2, the degradation rate for MO under visible light of U-N-TiO2 was increased by 70%.

The object of this study was to investigate the impact of application biocar on peanuts growing. It was based on a long-term fertilization experiment which researched the effect of applying different amounts of biochar and BBF when continuously cropping peanuts for 5 years. There were five treatments: no fertilizer, low level of biochar (C15), high level of biochar (C50), chemical nitrogen–phosphorus–potassium (NPK) fertilizer and biochar-based fertilization (BBF).We determined peanuts stem and leaf weight, root weight, plant and the relative content of chlorophyll at every growth stages in 2016. The results showed that all fertilization can increase these indexes and in application of NPK improve them the most which close to BBF. The peanuts stem and leaf weight, root weight, plant and the relative content of chlorophyll was higher than the same level carbon treatment (C15) 62.85%, 6.67%, 18.73% and 25.58%, respectively. Expect stem and leaf weight, plant height, root weight and chlorophyll were higher when high level biochar (C50) applied than the low one (C15).

A kind of hexagonal ZnO (HZO) was synthesized in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)/H2O mixed solvent for a high exposure of polar ±(0001) facets to get a high-efficiency photocatalyst. The amine-functionalized HZO particles were coated with graphene oxide (GO) by electrostatic force-induced self-assemby and thermal reduction to form HZO@Gr core/shell structure. The as-prepared HZO and HZO@Gr were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Raman spectroscopy and UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis/DRS). The results indicate that the graphene on HZO@Gr remains high quality and the optical properties of the composite change a lot with sunlight absorption improving, bandgap and photoluminescence (PL) intensity decreasing. The obtained HZO photocatalyst shows good photocatalytic activity for methylene blue (MB) under UV-visible irradiation. Furthermore, the HZO@Gr photocatalyst exhibits the best photodegradation rate of MB reaching up to 98.2% within 50 minutes. The graphene-coated HZO structure could offer new directions which would further extend the scope for synthesis of various ZnO/graphene composites with improved properties useful for various applications.

In order to study the efficacy of calcium carbonate for cobalt (Co) fixation, as well as its influence on chemical speciation of Co in fluvo-aquic soil, pakchoies were planted in the soil with different quantities of exogenous Co and calcium carbonate. Co concentrations in the mature plant shoots were analyzed, and the chemical speciation of Co were detected with the Tessier five-step sequential extraction. The results showed that the Co concentration in plants tended to decrease first and then get higher with the concentration of calcium carbonate increasing (0-12g/kg) in soil (P < 0.05). The proportion of Co in the exchangeable form in the soil followed the similar tendency (P < 0.05), which might transform from the exchangeable form into the carbonate-associated and organic-associated forms. A regression analysis showed that when the concentrations of calcium carbonate were in the range of 5.0 to 7.5 g/kg, Co concentration in the plant reached to the lowest point, while the proportion of Co in the exchangeable form reached the minimum. In conclusion, to get the optimum effect, the dosage of calcium carbonate should be kept in the range of 5.0 to 7.5 g/kg when it is applied to Co fixation.

The peel strength of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) edge band on curved edge part was tested by using experimental method which was conducted to define the influence of many factors, including temperature of applying glue, glue dosage and feed rate on peel strength of edge band from curved edge part. The results showed that the temperature of applying glue, glue dosage and feed rate have a great effect on the peel strength of PVC edge band. The obtained optimum technical parameters were respectively as follow: temperature of applying glue was 140~150°C, glue dosage was 363~379g/m2 and feed rate was 13~15m/min.

A novel donor-acceptor type conjugated polymer PTBFTPD based on two-dimensional (2D) conjugated alkylthienyl substituted thieno[2,3-f]benzofuran (TBF) and thienopyrroledione (TPD) unit, was synthesized and applied as donor material for bulk heterojunction solar cells. The novol polymer possesses a narrow bandgap of 1.83 eV, a deep HOMO energy level (-5.64 eV) and a closer π−π stacking. After conventional devices were fabricated using PTBFTPD as donor blending with PC70BM as acceptor, a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.33% with a high open circuit voltage (Voc) of 1.09 V was obtained. The result indicates the promising potential of thieno [2, 3-f] benzofuran unit for high efficient polymer solar cells with a high voltage.

The precursors of Mn2O3 was synthesized through co-precipitation method using MnAc4H2O, NaHCO3 as raw materials. The precursors were heat-treated at 400°C, 500°C, and 600°C, respectively. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The electrochemical properties of the samples were investigated also. The test results showed that the Mn2O3 (heat-treated at and 600°C) featured higher reversible capacity and better cycling performance than that of other samples. The specific capacity of the Mn2O3 samples (heat-treated at and 600°C) was 745 mAh/g respectively after 100 cycles at a constant current of 100 mA/g in the voltage range of 0.01-3 V. The preparation principle for the formation of the Mn2O3 samples and its electrochemical process of Mn2O3 were discussed also.

The NiMoO4 samples were synthesized by rheological phase-hydrothermal method. The efforts of different annealed temperatures on the morphologies and electrochemical properties of the final products were systematically investigated. The NiMoO4 samples exhibit the best electrochemical properties with a high reversible capability (640 mAh g−1 at current density of 50 mA g−1) and cycling stability, compared with the other samples. These results indicate that the NiMoO4 samples could be promising electrode materials for lithium ion batteries.

The concentrated seawater containing abundant salt components can be utilized as water resource in soda industry either to lower the production cost or prevent the environmental problems caused by excessive drainage. However, its application has been confined by the high contents of the scaling ions (Ca2+, Mg2+, SO42-) which probably cause production interruption and unnecessary energy consuming. Hence, this study has developed a process for concentrated seawater refining by the waste liquid from the soda production and investigated its optimum conditions: Ca(OH)2/Mg2+=1.0, pH ≥ 10.61, proportion of demonization waste liquid adding to 40%v/v, 10% w/v seed crystal input, and Ca2+/CO32-=1.1. The composition of refined liquid could satisfy the requirement of actual production.
