Platelet rich plasma (PRP) and platelet rich fibrin (PRF) are sourced from human blood and have role in bone recovery. Both of them could be incorporated into scaffold for bone regeneration. Synthetic coral scaffold is a natural mimicking of sea coral designed for bone regeneration. It should have bio degradability and bio absorbability that influence new bone formation process. The purpose of this study is to investigate the degradation, swelling profile and gel fraction of synthetic coral scaffold incorporated with PRP or PRF. Synthetic coral scaffold consists of gelatin, calcium carbonate, and sodium nitrate as dispersant agent. It is divided into 3 groups, incorporated PRP, PRF, and no-incorporation. Scaffold was soaked in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) and incubated in 37° C for 24 hours. Scaffold weight was measured in every 30 minutes to observe the swelling profile and gel fraction. Degradation profile was observed after 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours of soaking. Acceleration of degradation was measured after soaking with HC1 1N for 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, 96 hours until the scaffold ran out. The result shows significant differences among PRP, PRF, and control group. PRP incorporation has slow degradation, good swelling and higher gel fraction that presents the strengthening of scaffold structure.

Shrimp production is currently constrained by many diseases. These diseases are conventionally prevented by administering chemicals as immunostimulants, with their attendant side effects. Alternative natural ingredients as immunostimulants in shrimp production are being sought, and Majapahit plant (Crescentia cuje L.) is one. In vitro and in silico studies on the plant's stems, leaves and fruits showed the plant's desirable effects on the immune system of Vannamei Shrimp, as the plant contains important bioactive compounds (e.g. carotenoids, phenolics, alkaloids, pectin, tannins, flavonoids and terpenoids). The present study determined the ability of Majapahit fruit powder mixed into shrimp feeds in enhancing the immune system of the seafood. Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) revealed quercetin flavonoids as the effective active ingredient in the powder, which in silico study proved to be an effective immunostimulant for shrimps.

Very short term electricity load forecasting (VSTLF) is done the day before forecasting every 30 minutes. This forecasting is imperative about the planning of operating plants, which are carried out in maintenance and related to economic considerations. This forecasting refers to the loading of electricity in a particular area and time. Very short-term electricity loading in the past few years has been used to predict the electricity load shortly. One method used for forecasting very short loads is using IT-1 FIS. In IT-1-FIS, the dataset is made by looking at the imposition of electricity on certain days at certain hours of the previous year. The data that calculate time difference forecast Friday 4th used Friday 3rd, 2nd, and 1st at the same hour and month of the past year. In this study, it proposed that the calculation of Time difference forecasting the 4th Friday be used data Thursday 4th, 4th Wednesday, 4th Tuesday. After entering into IT-1-FIS, the forecasting error result is 0,6123 %. This value is higher than if you use the time difference on Friday 3rd, 2nd, and 1st, which has a forecast error value of 0,4695 %. So it can be concluded that the time difference setting is very influential in the process of calculating forecasts, and the use of time difference data with the use of Friday data 3rd, 2nd, and 1st is better.

Roads are land transportation infrastructure that covers all parts of the road. Roads with bad conditions will interfere with the achievement of activities to a destination. The situation also includes damage to the road surface in the form of holes. To overcome this, in this Final Project a hole detector was detected in the road using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and Neural Network (NN). The tool detects holes in the surface of the road using a camera by walking along the road being examined. The camera is used instead of the eye to detect road surface damage. The method used to detect holes is the GLCM. The GLCM method produces several features, namely entropy, contrast, energy, homogeneity, and correlation which will then be processed using a NN to produce a decision whether there is a hole or not. In addition to knowing where the location of the damage is equipped with GPS (Global Positioning System). The results of image feature extraction using the GLCM and road classification using NN can be used in the hole detection process. Testing is done using a car prototype that is monitored through the computer. The percentage of successful hole detection is 86.6% using 10 hidden. When a hole is detected the device manages to take a picture, then sends the hole coordinates to the server.

Cipayung Landfill is the last disposal location of waste processing in Depok City, West Java. In a day, approximately 800 tons of garbage is dumped, which is then processed by being burned and left to decompose for inorganic and organic waste, respectively. However, poor waste management has resulted in an accumulation that continues to this day. This creates a variety of problems, especially leachate contamination that infiltrates to the groundwater, flows along and threaten the health of residents who live in the vicinity. This liquid contains toxins and hazardous materials. Therefore, it is essential for residents to know the level of contamination occurred and its dispersion, along with actions that must be taken to reduce the impact of pollution. In this study, we map the distribution of contaminated groundwater using the geophysical ground penetrating radar method, together with the chemical analysis of water samples. Ground penetrating radar has been useful to detect the change of permittivity and conductivity of layers below the surface. It is possible to mark off the contaminated groundwater to the fresh one indicated from an extensive amount of electromagnetic signal attenuation. This study suggests that there is contamination occurred in radius up to hundreds of meters from the landfill site. The result of this community-based research gives an advisable policy regarding waste management and groundwater usage in this area.

The General Election of the President, DPD, DPR, Provincial DPRD and Regency / City DPRD in 2019, in Indonesia, is carried out by an independent institution namely the General Election Commission (KPU), where there is a measure of the success of the holding by holding the principle of direct, general, free of secrecy. Another component of the election will be the implementation of contestants and voters. In the electoral factor, this is also a measure for success in the overall implementation process, which is a success if the participation of the community is high in the holding of elections. And conversely, if the community participation is low, one of them is the level of public trust in the organizer (government) decreases. Analysis of classification mining data with C4.5 algorithm places the prediction class "Present" and "Not Present" on the permanent voter list (DPT) taken from form C7 (voter attendance list form). C7 data was obtained from polling stations (TPS) located in the village of Wonokasian, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The number of datasets is 4249 instances, and the number of attributes is 10. With split datasets, for training data are 2965 instances, and testing data are 1284 instances. From testing, the testing data obtained the results of true or appropriate accuracy of 1151 instances (90%) and obtained incorrect or incompatible data as many as 134 instances (10%). In the text mining there are stages that must be passed namely the text preprocessing stage. Text preprocessing is the stage to do the data selection process in each document, including case folding, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming. The results of the preprocessing process can affect the accuracy of document classification. In documents Bahasa Indonesia, there are still often over-stemming and under-stemming, so improvements are needed in the stemming process. In this study, it is proposed to use sastrawi libraries to improve the results of previous studies that are still not optimal in the results of preprocessing, especially in the filtering and stemming process. From the results of the study, the sastrawi library is able to reduce over stemming and under stemming and a faster processing time compared to using a Tala stemmer.

In 2019, the government of the Republic of Indonesia issued a zoning-based policy for New Student Admissions (PPDB) from the level of elementary school (SD) to high school (SMA), especially for public schools. The policy is documented in Permendikbud No.51 / 2018. The government policy aims to ensure the equality of education and make prospective students not focus only on favorite schools. However, this policy raises new problems. One of them is that if the potential student has got a medium UN (National Examination) score or medium distance of the house to the destination school, then his potential to be accepted at the destination school is very small. It is even worse if the potential students do not know the lowest score and the farthest distance the destination school can accept. Thus, potential students will choose schools by only guessing without basing on valid data, so their chances of being accepted will be very small. This current research focused on Educational Data Mining at PPDB Public High School (SMA) in Jombang in the academic year 2019/2020 which aims to accommodate the needs of potential students to predict the destination schools based on their own grades and home distances using classification techniques of data mining. However, another problem emerged in this study. An overlapping data occurred where one data was also owned by more than one class. For example, a potential student of SMA Negeri 2 Jombang (SMAN 2 Jombang) has got a score of 80 in Bahasa Indonesia subject, which is the same as that of a student from SMA Negeri 3 Jombang (SMAN 3 Jombang). Data overlapping does not only occur in one data but almost all of the data. The data used in this study were 600 data, consisting of 308 from PPDB 2019 of SMAN 2 Jombang, and the rest were from SMAN 3 Jombang. The attributes used were the home distance from the destination school, overall UN scores, UN scores of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Bahasa Indonesia, and English subjects. The algorithm used was a combination of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with Logistic Regression (LR)-based Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Anova kernel. The validation applied 10-fold cross-validation and the evaluation of algorithm performance used the aspects of accuracy, precision, and recall. The results of this current study showed an accuracy of 94.33%, a precision of 96.28%, and a recall of 92.53%. The results were better than those that did not apply PCA (70.83% accuracy, 69.62% precision, and 76.62% recall). By PCA, data could be seen from another angle that could separate or differentiate one class from the others. Even though there were 100% overlapping data, none of them, from all attributes, was 100% exactly the same.

The more widespread use of concrete and the increasing development shows that there is a greater demand for concrete so a new innovation for concrete is needed in an alternative use of basic materials. Slag cement is the result of fine grinding of steel slag which has the properties of cement which can function as an aggregate adhesive in concrete mixtures and has a fineness level that is either equal or more than type I portland cement. This research aims to compare high quality concrete made from slag cement and conventional concrete mixtures. Concrete beam samples with the size of 20 cm × 30 cm × 240 cm, with 2D10 compressive reinforcement and 3D10 tensile reinforcement. The number of samples are 6 with a variation of 3 high quality reinforced concrete with type I portland cement and 3 using slag cement. Flexture test is by analyzing the behavior of beams due to loading, crack patterns, and visual results of the beam with slag cement. From the results of the research, at the same load of 8 tons obtained a maximum deflection value of 9.52 mm on structural beams with slag cement and 13.30 mm on normal structural beams, thus structural beams with slag cement have better rigidity. The crack patterns that occur is the flextural crack patterns that occur in 1/3 of the middle span with a number of 5 cracks and a maximum crack width of 0.218 mm that occurs in structural beams with slag cement.

We deal with the application of an unconditionally implicit finite difference approximation equation of the one-dimensional linear time fractional diffusion equations (TFDE's) via the Caputo's time fractional derivative. Based on this implicit approximation equation, the corresponding linear system can be generated in which its coefficient matrix is large scale and sparse. To speed up the convergence rate in solving the linear system iteratively, we construct the corresponding preconditioned linear system. Then we formulate and implement the Preconditioned AOR (PAOR) iterative method for solving the generated linear system. One example of the problem is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of PAOR method. The numerical results of this study show that the proposed iterative method is superior to PSOR and PGS, GS iterative method.

Tires are part of the wheel of the vehicle in direct contact with the road surface. Tires are the basis for supporting vehicle loads. The basic material of the tire is rubber so it has elastic and soft properties, strong but yet susceptible to taper and sharp objects. Minor damage to the tire will cause air leakage, and its can occur in all parts of the tire. This study discusses tire leakage caused by valve damage. Valve damage is caused by high pressure, lack of pressure, inner tire leakage or shock load collision which causes the tire valve to release. Reused tire damaged in the valve section can be repaired with modifications of the worn and damaged valve. The addition of plastic-coated compound to add strength and toughness of the valve, was applied to get the benefits of tire recycling. The added layer includes a plastic layer, compound and balloon layer. The three layers are tested to find out the layer that is able to increase the strength of the valve more significantly. Tire valve pressure testing which is coated with plastic can have greater strength than other composites.

The potency of the ultra-low head hydro resource is quite huge in the world. In Indonesia, only 1.8% of the Pico hydro potency with head of less than 5m is utilized as electric resource [1]. Archimedes screw is one of the promising technology that could be used to extract this low head hydro resource. One prominent factor which is affecting the performance of the Archimedes turbine screw is the ratio of the hub diameter (d) to the diameter of the screw (D). In this paper, the ratio d/D were varied as 0.22, 0.29, 0.33, 0.42. In addition, flow rate (Q), were varied as well as 1.8 l/s, 1.4 l/s, 1.0 l/s. The blade configuration that used in this test is a single blade. The result shows that the highest efficiency is achieved with the diameter ratio of d/D = 0.42 with the eficiency off 40.23%.

Numerical studies using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of thermal decomposition of Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) have been conducted in a fluidized bed reactor under atmospheric pressure of nitrogen as fluidization gas. To investigate the effect of temperature, the fast pyrolysis temperature was varied in a range from 400 °C to 650 °C. Furthermore, the effect of PKS feeding rate was also studied in a range from 300 g/h to 1500 g/h combined with variations of nitrogen superficial velocities. It was found that the increase of temperature results in the greatening of conversion efficiency and non-condensable gas product yield. The maximum 60.5 % liquid/tar product yield was obtained in 500 °C. The increase of PKS feeding rate led to the reduction of conversion efficiency due to the thermal energy shortage for the decomposition process. However, the increase of PKS feeding rate could reduce the non-condensable gas product with the insignificant change in liquid product yield. The rising superficial velocity of nitrogen favoured the shorter residence time resulting in the increasing tar product yield.

This research aimed at validating the fully raster-based suitability modelling for sea cucumber (Holothuria scabra) that has been created for the waters of Kiowa Bay, Enggano Island, Bengkulu. To validate the model, eighty-four sea cucumbers were cultivated on two different suitability classes. The field test phase includes setting the cultivation cages; measurement of sea cucumber weight; measurement of water quality parameter; and substrate analysis. Sea cucumbers were put into 2 cultivation cages (Cage 1: highly suitable, and Cage 2: less suitable), and for each cage, it was divided into 3 sub-cages. Before weighing, the sea cucumber was taken out from the water and then put into a tray layered with tissue, and left for 30 seconds. Measurements were conducted at the beginning of the study (t0) and then carried out every three weeks until t3. The data analysis includes the Specific Growth Rate; Daily Growth Rate; Absolute Growth; and Survival Rate. The results showed that the Specific Growth Rate; Daily Growth Rate; Absolute Growth; and Survival Rate at Cage 1 (ie 0.5%; 0.88 gram; 62.28 gram; and 85.71%) better than the same parameters at Cage 2 (ie 0.34%; 0.64 gram; 45.33 grams; and 69.05%). These results indicate that the raster-based data for sea cucumber suitability model has advantages over the sea cucumber suitability model analyzed using vector-based data.

Ground monitoring can be used for observing ground structure changes or other specific objectives. Rather than using expensive ground penetration radar, the ground propagation characteristics may be able to describe the structure changes. Ground propagation can be evaluated by using a simple radio transmitter and receiver. This paper employs a vector network analyzer (VNA) to explore ground propagation characteristics. As the available VNA works from 500 MHz to 1 Ghz, the paper proposes how to select suitable frequency for ground monitoring. Tangential comparison between mathematical model and direct measurement is proposed. The result shows that the selected frequency exerts promising propagation characteristic even dough signal diffraction causes irregular signal strength at the receiver.
