Black liquor is a remnant of pulping fluid which generally consists of 14-18 percent solids which is commonly known as weak black liquor (WBL) with a pH of 12 or more. About 65 percent of the solids contained in black liquor are organic compounds derived from wood such as lignin, resins and fatty acids, acids from carbohydrates, and other organic compounds; The remaining 35percent percent is white liquor which is used in the pulping process. Kraft lignin, also called sulfate or alkali lignin, is obtained from black liquor by the extraction method using an acid hydrolysis process, so that pure kraft lignin compounds can be obtained which can be further utilized in various industrial activities. This study is comparing two kraft lignin extraction methods of acid hydrolysis process with thermal assistance (heating temperature) and a gradual centrifuge. The experiment results showed that the levels of lignin contained in black liquor consist of total calories of 391 kcal / Kg which can be processed into energy sources in the recovery boiler unit in further process. The result of kraft lignin extraction process using the acid hydrolysis method with gradual centrifuge stage is better than the thermal acid hydrolysis method. Quantitatively calculated with ASL values difference of around 0.002 mg / g of both the method and the AIR Value using centrifuge give an average yield of 969.815 mg / g, while using thermal assistance gives an average yield of 679.790 mg / g. Qualitatively, the centrifuge method is more optimal compared to the thermal method shown by the results of ICP, FTIR and SEM testing.

Noise affects human health and behavior. Significantly noise results in a decrease in quality of life. The World Health Organization states that noise pollution is the third most dangerous type of environmental pollution. Noise is seriously problematic in the health of the urban environment in the world. The city of Yogyakarta as a center of education in Indonesia has experienced a very large growth in urban numbers from various provinces in Indonesia. Noise testing is carried out in residential areas as well as being an education area in Yogyakarta. The tool used MU.04 / SLM / 04 (Sound Level Meter) shows a value of 62.1 dBA from the normal limit of 55 dBA. These results indicate that noise is disturbing. So it is necessary to do noise reduction along the crowded roads of vehicles with natural vegetation. Natural vegetation that is fast growing and capable of significantly reducing noise is bamboo. Bamboo vegetation can bind more carbon than tree plants. The green belt vegetation of bamboo plants will create a more comfortable, shady and beautiful environment in the city of Yogyakarta.

Indonesia has thousands of ethnic groups with a variety of traditional buildings. Traditional buildings made of wood almost all experienced problems of material damage due to insect attacks and weathering due to weather influences. The community tends to dismantle building elements that have been damaged by hoisting insects. This happens because of the lack of knowledge about techniques in repairing or retrofitting wood structures. Wood material is susceptible to problems with elemental damage due to weathering and insect attacks. Damage to the structural elements of the wooden beam does not occur as a whole but only in certain areas. To maintain the strength of the wood in order to carry the burden, it is necessary to strengthen only the damaged area. So the structural elements of the wooden block do not need to be replaced in total but only on the damaged part. Testing the tensile strength of the flexural strength of the whole Tectona grandis wood block as many as 6 pieces, 6 pieces of Teak wood without adhesive, Tectona grandis using 6 pieces of adhesive with a size of 120 x 8 x 6 cm, and Tectona grandis wood as 6 pieces of adhesive with the size 10 x 4 x 6 cm, and the adhesive used is epoxy glue. The results of the study stated that the maximum flexural strength is occurring in Teak wood beams with adhesive (D-1, D-2, D-3) able to have stronger flexural strength of 59.8455 N/mm2, 52.22533594 N/mm2, 54.54848438 N/mm2, compared to solid beams (F-1, F-2, F-3) of 39.72684375 N/m2, 53.01527344 N/mm2, 60.58877344 N/mm2. This research also shows that the connection of Teak wood blocks with adhesives has better flexural strength.

Estimating the position of a homogeneous object from an image for XY position is quite simple because it has the same dimensions XY. However, determining the XYZ position requires a unique approach. Generally, for estimating 3D position, stereo camera or expensive cameras are used with complicated computer vision algorithms. In this paper, we classify the position of an object using a mono camera. The image is divided into 3185 classes and five layers as a machine learning algorithm references. The k-nearest neighbors (kNN) approach usually is to find the closest point of the centroids to the closest class. Thus, this approach can be used as a three-axis prediction method that can afford the best performance solution.

This paper proposes a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) program to classify epileptic seizure. The diagnosis of epileptic seizure involves the identification and different characteristic of the Electroencephalography (EEG) signal. As such, it needs a method for identifying and classifying epileptic seizure. Deep learning is part of a neural network that has the ability and pattern to identify and classify epileptic seizure. CNN has been demonstrated high performance on image classification and pattern detection. In this paper, we combine the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and CNN to classify epileptic seizure. This experiment uses the wavelet transform to convert signal data of EEG to time-frequency domain images. The output of the wavelet transform is an image that will classify into five attributes. In this experiment, we develop a simple program that will compare with other CNN approach (AlexNet and GoogleNet). The results of this experiment are two kinds of data, accuracy, and loss. The resulting accuracy is 72.49%, and the loss is 0.576. This result has a better learning time than GoogleNet and smaller loss result than AlexNet.

The rapid change of the times. A smartphone is a part of socialization. Social is a product of the collective society. Different from the social model of the past. The popularity of social software in recent years has also brought about tremendous changes. A social application such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, etc. All bring a new definition of social style to human society. Since different social software has the same mode of making friends, the face of friends is in appearance or interest. Do we think that dating mode can make changes? There are differences in 'people'. Differences create different individuality, personalities, and traits. Therefore, we use personality traits as the theme to design a mobile-oriented mobile application that allows users to complete the personality test. The topic, whether or not it does not meet its personality traits, has a standard existence. We use the user personality test to test the user's nine personality scale and can chat and interact with other users through personality matching. Different from general social software, this paper will explore the application value of social software user personality traits, and will have the opportunity to change the interaction mode of today's social software with different dating experiences, so that the social experience generated by users can be further improved.

There are around 650 million people from all over the world who lived with disabilities. One of the fundamental rights of people with disabilities is the existence of a companion to supervise his activity. Meanwhile, the use of mobile phones for monitoring the activities of people with disabilities has been widely carried out. The human activity monitoring mobile application requires human activity recognition methods that provide high accuracy, precision, and recall to reduce the error rate of the activity estimation. Some researches use machine learning algorithms like K-Nearest Neighbour (k-NN) algorithm, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest for human activity recognition methods. However, the results of these studies have not been compared apples to apples. Therefore, this study presents a performance comparison of SVM, KNN, and Random Forest machine learning methods. Based on our findings, the SVM method with Support Vector Classifier (SVC) and Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernels can achieve the highest precision and recall, 87% and 85% respectively. The fastest processing time is obtained using the SVM method with the Stochastic Gradient Descent. However, in general, the best performance is shown by Random Forest. The Random Forest method with a depth of 100 and 300 trees can reach an accuracy of 96% within 0.45 minutes.

Air conditioner (AC) as an active conditioning system is commonly used to absorb heat inside the room or building. However, AC requires relatively large electrical energy. Passive air conditioning system could be seen as an alternative solution to alter the issues mentioned above. Phase Change Material-PCM is able to absorb heat as latent heat that change its form without increasing the temperature. In applications, PCM can be used as mixture on concrete in order to hold the thermal energy from the environment so the temperature inside building can be lower and stable. PCM can decrease thermal conductivity of concrete. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) that can be applied as PCM is added within concrete so that it can have insulating behaviour, decrease the cooling load and electricity energy consumption. In this study, CPO is injected into lightweight concrete with some variation volume to represent its insulating behaviour. Thermal conductivities of lightweight concrete when used CPO volume 0 ml (as control), 2.5 ml, 5 ml, and 7.5 ml are 0,12 W/mK, 0,06 W/mK, 0.07W/mK, and 0.08 W/mK. Thus, the lightweight concrete has better insulating behaviour. This research is expected to be a solution for decreasing cost of electricity energy consumption in buildings.
