Abstract
Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) grid is a kind of two-way fiber material. Its transverse reinforcement and longitudinal reinforcement have the same physical characteristics. Experiments on the reinforced concrete one-way slabs strengthened by FRP grid were conducted to study the influences of bonding area and FRP anchors on its flexural performance. The results showed that the flexural capacity of reinforced concrete one-way slabs strengthened by FRP grid is increased by 7% - 21%. FRP grid can effectively slow down the crack expanding, increases the stiffness and improve the flexural behavior of the slab.
