Abstract
This study aims to obtain objective information about the online learning activities of students of the Islamic Civilization and Humanities Faculty of the Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University of Jambi as implementing the rector's instructions to carry out the learning process at home during the COVID-19 emergency response period. The research method used is descriptive method with survey research. Data collection techniques used are in direct communication techniques with data collection tools through questionnaires using Google Form media. Respondents in this study amounted to 280 students from the Arabic Language and Literature Department, English Literatures, Library Science, and Islamic Civilization History of the Islamic Civilization and Humanities Faculty of the Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University of Jambi. The results obtained from this study indicate that online learning activities of students during the COVID-19 emergency response to home study policies were "quite good". With the force majeure situation and with all the challenges and obstacles that are expected in the future can be used as an evaluation and experience in online learning both for students and lecturers.
