Abstract
Members of the Institute in the North of England and the Midlands may not be aware of the facilities available at the U.R.R. Reactor sitef. This reactor is run as a joint project by the Universities of Liverpool and Manchester to promote research in neutron physics, reactor physics, radiochemistry and related fields. The main programme started in mid-January and considerable success has been achieved in establishing a running schedule to satisfy the various groups of users, who range from biologists to radiation chemists.
