Institutional login for remote and seamless access

Your university may have enabled remote access to IOP Publishing content through an institutional login. To get remote access to journals and ebooks on IOPscience, without using campus IP addresses or VPN's, please follow these steps:

1. Visit a journal article or ebook and select. if you do not have access to that content at the time of landing on the page, you will find a section titled "Access this article"

   

2. In the "Login" sub-section, click on the "Access through your institution" link.

3. You will be presented with a new page containing a searchbox in order to find your institution. Begin typing your institution name to see a list of matching results.

   

4. When you have found your institution, select it from the list and you will be directed to your institution's login page to enter your credentials and login.

5. After successful login you will be returned to the specific journal or ebook for authorized access. If you are still unable to access after you login, please contact your university or email us at customerservices@ioppublishing.org

6. Thanks to our participation in SeamlessAccess, your institutional login will now be carried with you when you visit other participating publisher platforms, saving you time and effort.

SeamlessAccess

We've introduced SeamlessAccess on IOPscience to make remote access even easier. We will now automatically recognize if you have previously logged in to IOPscience using your institutional login. Not only that but your institutional login will also be carried with you when you visit other participating publisher platforms, saving you time and effort.
