Abstract

In this paper the preparation and electrochemical characterization of an immunosensor for Chagas disease is described. The results obtained indicating the possibility of the modification of ITO surface by formation of a LbL film constructed by the intercalation of PVS as polyanion and AgNP-SiPy+ as polycation. The LbL films were then modified by incorporation of Chagas ATG on their surface. These modified LbL films showed a pronounced impedance change when in the presence of the Chagas ATB indicating that this kind of film could be used in a device for diagnosis of Chagas disease.
