Abstract
The simultaneous rolling process of two identical wheels in the driving and braking modes is simulated, taking into account the rollback process. The processes of interaction of the driving and braking wheels of the same size with each other and with the mobile platform (road) separating them are studied. The circular diagrams of the wheel rotation angle of a tractor of the traction class 1.4 obtained with the help of a radial recorder are presented in the driving mode when trying to start from a place under a traction load and in the driven mode when stopping after rolling on different support surfaces. As a result of field experiments, it was found that at low values of the relative rise (descent), the transition of the wheel from rolling to rest is not only accompanied by a rollback to the angle αr, but also by damping fluctuations relative to the position of the future rest.
