Abstract
The reliability parameter selection scheme and reliability index determination method of embedded software are always the focus and difficulty of research. Based on the analysis of the existing technology and the actual situation of the software, this paper proposes a method to determine the software reliability index based on the task profile. This method firstly analyzes and selects the software reliability parameters combined with the characteristics of embedded software, then generates the task sequence according to the task characteristics and failure characteristics of embedded software and establishes the task profile. Finally, the parameters are selected according to the reliability parameter selection principle and the reliability index is determined according to the software characteristics.
