Abstract

As typical arsenicals, lewisite, diphenyl chloroarsine, diphenyl cyanoarsine occupy a large proportion of Japanese abandoned chemical weapons in China. Both heating blasting technology and controlled detonation disposal are regarded as the effective disposal to destroy the molecular structure of chemical agents. In different forms of arsenic product, two destruction methods for chemical weapons have been discussed. Analytical morphology of arsenic showed that arsenicals can be oxidized better and less organic arsenic residue can be reduced by heating blasting technology.
