Abstract

Public health is currently the government's concern, especially during the pandemic, so the existence of an information and education center about healthy food is needed. A forum that facilitates the community is needed to add information and education about healthy food functionally and visually. The methods used in this research area literature study, interviews, and site surveys. The purpose of this research is to obtain data as a deepening of the design so that it has a strong basis and could give a good impact on all parties. The design applies a natural environment approach as a healthy environment by applying biophilic through the use of green plants and food ingredients. The result of this research is the interior design of the Healthy Food Information and Education Center with a natural environment approach as a healthy environment by implementing indoor plants and environmentally friendly materials for interior elements. The application of both indoor plants and environmentally friendly materials in space as a healthy natural environment is to strengthen the identity of healthy food and to accommodate the user and the interior interactions to improve the quality of individual and environmental health. It is expected that the sustainability of natural environment could potentially support and contribute to healthy environment in future.
