Abstract

PET which stands for polyethylene terephthalate. It is a form of polyester just like the clothing fabric. PET bottles is a clear, strong, and lightweight plastic that is widely used for packaging foods and beverages, especially convenience-sized soft drinks, juices and water. Have increasingly become an indispensable and essential part of a common man's life. The joining of waste PET containers in substantial composites is a promising method for creating manageable composite materials which might be applied to the development business. Consequently, concrete with squander PET jugs demonstrates not just as a viable plastic waste administration procedure, yet in addition a methodology towards financial, climate well-disposed and reasonable advancement of building materials later on. In this review paper, properties of reinforced concrete made by the incorporation of waste PET bottle fibres have been analysed and discussed.
