Abstract
The 2022 AUA Academic Conference on Sustainable Energy and Green Technology (AUA-SEGT 2022) is a virtual Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) sponsored conference jointly organized by Universiti Malaya, Malaysia and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, that was held from 21-23 February 2022 with the theme "Gearing Innovative Green Technologies Towards Sustainable Living", supporting the AUA Themes for 2020-2023 "Energy and Sustainability".
AUA-SEGT 2022 was held virtually through the Gather.Town Conference Platform that facilitates face to face interactions among conference participants and crews. It aims to promote research in the field of sustainable energy, green technology, environment and climate change, and to facilitate the exchange of new ideas and the establishment of research clusters in these fields among academicians, engineers, scientists and practitioners from both AUA and non-AUA members. The conference was chaired by Prof. Ir. Dr. Chong Wen Tong (Universiti Malaya), and co-chaired by Prof. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj (Chulalongkorn University) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nasrin Agha Mohammadi (Universiti Malaya).
