Abstract
The paper presents the application perspectives of the general-purpose heat and power plant based on the reciprocating steam engine for driving various mechanisms. Renewable energy sources are used as fuel for the plant operation. The economic efficiency estimating calculation results of the proposed general-purpose heat and power plant on site are represented.
