Abstract
Mathematical models (MM) applied to hydraulics are a consequence of the union between alphanumeric information and geographic information in a GIS. They are increasingly necessary to carry out planning, forecasting. Having a reliable model would favor operators in the daily tasks of exploitation of water resources. The present investigation justifies the functionality of these technologies and suggests a wide range of possibilities of exploitation of the models through the SIG-MM integration.
