Abstract
This paper presents the results of structural design and analysis of the noise characteristics of a low-noise hybrid frequency synthesizer based on direct digital and indirect synthesis methods for using as a shaper of harmonic signals for fifth generation telecommunication systems transceivers. The hybrid synthesizer is based on a phase-locked loop (PLL) with DDS operating on fundamental frequency images. Due to this, the hybrid synthesizer generates a wide range of output frequencies with high frequency resolution, as well as a low level of phase noise and discrete side components of the spectrum of the output signal.
