Abstract

Searching for ways of ³He isotope supply are one of the serious problems of ecologically attractive D-³He fusion. To solve the problem of ³He supply, cycles with ³He production are suggested. The concept of ³He self-sufficient D-³He cycles is developed. It is shown that, in such cycles, it is possible to achieve high power efficiency and low neutron yield.
