Abstract

This work provides the results of complex study of mechanical properties of the composition materials based on carbon fiber 3D-preforms and epoxy binder (carbon fiber A-49 by AKSA + epoxy resin T26 by INUMiT CJSC), as well as the analysis of benefits, merits and demerits from the viewpoint of complex analysis of mechanical properties and structural process stability. The paper presents the values of the main mechanical characteristics for all types of materials in proportions for all types of tests. A comprehensive analysis of the mechanical behavior, patterns of damage accumulation and destruction of composite samples was carried out using additional registration means: the method of recording acoustic emission signals, the method of digital image correlation and an infrared thermal imaging system.
