Submitting to Environmental Research Letters

Authors preparing their articles for submission to IOP journals may wish to include material (such as figures and tables) from the previously published work of other authors. Before doing this, you will need to seek approval from the author and any publisher. The Permission request form may be used for this purpose. Please ensure that you make it clear when seeking permission that your article will be published on a CC-BY basis.

More details can be found on our Guidelines for authors page under the 'Copyright, reproduction and permissions' heading.

If you have any questions on either of these main topics then our list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) in conjunction with the IOP Ethical Policy might provide the answers you seek. Alternatively you are welcome to send your enquiry to permissions@iop.org. Please provide as much detail as you can and we will endeavour to answer your questions.
