Show affiliationsWe present preliminary results of the search for the pentaquark candidates Θ(1540) and Ξ(1862) using data from Fermilab experiment E690 in the reaction pp → pX at 800 GeV/c. We find that production of pentaquark resonances is heavily suppressed with respect to the production of normal baryon and antibaryon resonances.
