Show affiliationsTiO2 exists in three principal crystallographic forms (anatase, brookite and rutile) but only the anatase form is photocatalytically active and it is changes easily to a rutile-type one, so the technique to easily prepare high yield anatase TiO2 is difficulty. In this present work, high yield anatase TiO2 nanocrystals were easily prepared by adding a additive(the key technique) via hydrothermal treatment under optimum conditions (0.15M Ti(SO4)2 sulfate aqueous solution, the Ti4+/additive molar ratio 1/1, the heat temperature 170°C and reaction time 4h). The as-prepared TiO2 was characterized by SEM, TEM and XRD.
