New Journal of Physics (NJP) is completely free to read and is funded solely by article publication charges. The full-rate article charge for 2012 is £900 (EUR990, US$1440) (independent of article length). We send invoices for payment after articles are accepted for publication and you should send your payment to IOP Publishing Ltd. Discounts are available as follows:
- Members of the Institute of Physics and Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft pay £675 (EUR745; US$1080).
- Members of NJP Associate Members pay £850 (EUR935; US$1360).
- NJP referees can qualify for a discount of £100 for each article that they referee. The qualifying criteria for referees to be eligible for this discount can be found in the referee guidelines.
