Taking the latest plasma research to the world

IOP is pleased to make Plasma Science and Technology (PST) available to the international research community on behalf of Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.

Founded in 1999, PST publishes novel experimental and theoretical results, and progress of interdisciplinary and application sciences in the fields related to plasma physics. For information on specific areas covered by the journal see the scope page.

Plasma Science and Technology celebrates Impact Factor success: As reported in the 2010 Journal Citation Reports published by Thomson Reuters, Plasma Science and Technology has achieved an Impact Factor of 0.553. To celebrate this year’s result a selection of most popular articles from Plasma Science and Technology have been made free to read until 31 August 2011. Click here to read the collection.
