This paper describes our proposal for a new virtual community architecture that employs a technique for dividing and managing virtual space, a message-model, and a space-sharing technique. We also describe certain concepts that can be used to apply our architecture to PCs and modems: the pack-delivery method for messages, and an asynchronized-rendering method. Finally, we review the results of our experimental service: `CyberCity96'.
