Jaroslav Mackerle

Show affiliations

This paper gives a bibliographical review of the finite element methods applied to the analysis and simulation of nanomaterials/nanostructures and their mechanical and material properties from the theoretical and application points of view. The added bibliography at the end of this article contains 831 references to papers and conference proceedings on the subject that were published in 1994–2004. The following topics are included: nanomaterials/nanostructures and their properties, applications of nanomaterials/nanostructures and other topics.

The references for the appendices can be found in the next three articles Bibliography (1994-2004) of nanomaterials/nanostructures and their properties, Bibliography (1994-2004) of applications of nanomaterials/nanostructures, Bibliography (1994-2004) of other topics.
