Show affiliationsPhotorefractive properties of
have been studied at 1064 nm using radiation from Nd:YAG lasers in both CW and repetitively pulsed regimes. Two-beam coupling and self-pumped phase conjugation are investigated at this wavelength for application to laser beam control. We thus investigate Q-switched Nd:YAG MOPA arrangements using
as a phase-conjugate mirror. Alternatively, two-wave coupling is used to clean up the beam of a CW Nd:YAG laser. In both techniques, reasonable extraction efficiency and good correction of phase aberrations are demonstrated.
