On chemical equilibrium in high-energy heavy-ion collisions

The thermal fitting parameters depend on the phase space coverage. It is questionable to interpret the fitting results extracted from the experimental measured particle yields within finite phase space. We test this idea with the transport models RQMD and NEXUS for heavy-ion collisions at both SPS and RHIC energies.
