Show affiliationsMagnetic relaxation studies have been performed in low fields for small times (t<or=300 s). Two separate cases are reported. In the first the relaxation is observed in constant applied fields, while in the second, the 'relaxation' due to a steady but small field decrease has been studied. For the case of steady fields, a logarithmic time variation is observed, while in decreasing fields the variation is of a stretched exponential type. Effects of H and H on the relaxation are also discussed. The data are analysed in the spirit of the critical state and thermally activated flux flow models.
