PROTECT special section

The June 2010 issue contains 7 key papers on developments of radiological protection of the environment. These are from the EC EURATOM-funded PROTECT project and the IAEA EMRAS programme. They describe the development of protection criteria, the testing of current tools and highlight future requirements as we move towards integrated assessments for humans and wildlife. The papers are free to read until 31 December  2010.

Review of radiation accidents

The review chronicles accidental overexposures of persons from military, industrial and medical radiation accidents since the 2nd World War.
