Conductivity of dust-laden gases

M S Sodha, P K Kaw and H K Srivastava

Show affiliations

An analysis is made of electron density and collision frequency in gases containing thermionically emitting dust suspensions. Two graphs are presented which permit the calculation of electrical conductivity over a wide range of conditions appropriate to magnetohydrodynamic generation of power.
