Show affiliationsIn this paper we show how the results of quasi-stationary perturbation theory relate to those based upon squared eigenfunction expansions. We show that the two give the same results for a quasi-stationary approximation and also show how standard adiabatic perturbation theory connects to the quasi-stationary theory.
