Probability density functions in binary mixtures

Pedro Sancho

Show affiliations

A theory of probability distributions of temperature and concentration fluctuations in turbulence of binary mixtures is presented. The Soret and Dufour effects couple concentration and temperature fluctuations modifying the scalar dissipation rates and the fluctuation-dissipation relations usual in one-component systems.
