Show affiliationsIt is argued that a model of cluster-cluster aggregation with random bond breaking leads to an equilibrium regime in which all configurations with the same number of bonds have equal probability to occur. Thus the authors' mdoel of cluster-cluster aggregation with random bond breaking and branched polymers (lattice animals) belong to the same universality class. The results are compared with numerical observations.
