Show affiliationsThe authors examine in detail the effect of the gravitational field of the Earth and its rotation in the spin precession of neutrons moving in an external steady magnetic field. It is shown that the effect is significant for slow neutrons diffracting in the single crystal and for cold neutrons. Extensive numerical examples are given.
