Discretized gravity and the SU(2) Wess–Zumino–Witten model

We discuss the geometrical aspects of the SU(2) Wess–Zumino–Witten model on a two-dimensional (random) Regge triangulation, and its connections with SU(2) boundary conformal field theory (CFT). At the quantum level, we briefly comment on the coupling between the resulting CFT and simplicial quantum gravity.
