Asymptotically flat soliton solutions in bosonic string theory

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

A new class of asymptotically flat soliton solutions is constructed for the low-energy bosonic string theory toroidally compactified to two dimensions. The corresponding 2N-soliton solution on the flat background is presented in explicit form.
