Linear control of a photoconductor

Show affiliations

A method is described for establishing a linear relationship between a controlling voltage and the ohmic value of a silicon photoconductor in an electrically isolated circuit. Gallium arsenide lamps are used to achieve a wide bandwidth, although it is found that this decreases as the operational range of resistance change increases.
