Show affiliationsRelations are obtained for the magnetic potentials and magnetostatic energies of single circles of charge and systems of coaxial parallel circles. Results obtained by direct integration (as elliptic integrals) correlate with solutions of Laplace's equation (Bessel function form). Applications to the calculation of the fields from and the forces between magnets and the behaviour of cylindrical domain structures are indicated, and other extensions proposed.
