Show affiliationsSr2Ce2Ti5O15 ceramics prepared by solid-state route were employed to fabricate high density polyethylene composites using the melt mixing and hot moulding methods. The microstructural studies of the composites indicated agglomeration for more than 30 vol% loading of the ceramics. The dielectric properties of the composites were studied at radio and microwave frequencies. It is observed that relative permittivity and loss tangent increased with volume fraction of the ceramics. For 40 vol% loading of the ceramic, the composite had relative permittivity of 11 and dielectric loss of 0.006 at 8 GHz. The experimentally observed permittivity was compared with different theoretical models.
