Realization of relativistic reflectors with the use of an electron beam and ionization front

It is shown that an electron beam and an ionization front can be applied as relativistic moving reflectors; upon reflection from such reflectors, the electromagnetic radiation pulse can have significant frequency up-conversion, pulse compression and energy amplification.
