A space and angle dependent study of neutron wave propagation in beryllium

Show affiliations

Using transport theory, the authors have studied the problem of neutron wave propagation in beryllium. Space and angle dependent neutron wave propagation parameters have been calculated inside an assembly of dimensions 59.2*61.7*94.0 cm3 for different frequencies. Some of the calculated results are compared with the observed results of Miles et al. (1974) and the diffusion theory results of Kumar et al. (1978).
