Dilatometric investigations on PbHPO4

Show affiliations

Thermal expansion measurements on single crystals of PbHPO4 are reported. In addition to a second-order phase transition at 309K, a small anomaly in the vicinity of 303K was also observed in the thermal expansivity along the various axes of the crystals, which may be related to previously noted differences between the temperature dependence of the proton ordering and that of the heavy-ion displacements.
