Calculation of band structures and electronic properties from models of SrTiO3

The band structure of strontium titanate is discussed. Transport and optical properties are calculated from the model. Good agreement with published spectral data (reflectance spectrum, ESCA spectra and optical spectra) is obtained and the transport properties are shown to be satisfactorily consistent with published data.
