Anharmonicity, anisotropy, interlayer coupling and the re-entrant lock-in transition in 2H TaSe2

It is shown that the re-entrant nature of the incommensurate-commensurate lock-in transition of the charge density wave in 2H TaSe2 may be a consequence of the anharmonicity in the interlayer coupling.
