Anomalous Hall effect in collisionless zero-gap semiconductors

C Lewiner and G Bastard

Show affiliations

The Hall conductivity sigma xy( omega ) is derived in the case of zero-gap semiconductors assumed to be collision free. The DC Hall constant is exactly equal to -1/nec but the frequency dependence of sigma xy( omega ) differs markedly from the Drude-Zener model. Intraband and interband corrections are calculated and discussed.
