Atomic structures in Kr between 22 and 32 eV

Show affiliations

Numerous structures of Kr between 22 and 32 eV are measured from an electroionization spectrum with a high signal-to-noise ratio. They are interpreted as states of neutral krypton belonging to the 4s4p6nl, 4s4p4nln'l' series and their related negative ion states. In particular, the 4s4p65s(1S) and 4s24p4(3P2)5s2 terms and others, corresponding to lowest excited Rydberg terms, are identified.
